Something along the lines of asking to play DotA2 -> "just play LoL instead"). It turned out to be easily resolved, but people really jumped on the Riot-hate bandwagon so quick. See this thread: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=427639 There was actually fairly little Riot hate in that thread (including the OP, who is thankfully now perm-ed anyway). In general the prevailing opinion in the thread was either defending Riot or chastising Valve for not making the investment to put their name down at PAX. Amusingly I can actually count more people jumping to LoL's defense against a non-existent hate-train than actual hate-train posters. Sometimes I feel like people read both Reddit and TL and confuse the two. There probably was a Reddit hate-train over the issue, but Reddit hate-trains everything.

Sometimes I feel like people read both Reddit and TL and confuse the two. That was just really a case of incomplete information and people filling in the blanks whichever way they wanted to. Reddit jumped heavily on the RIOT is evil bandwagon, I don't remember what happened on TL but it would be hard to top the Reddit circlejerk. I'm actually sorry I even brought this whole thing up, its such an uninteresting discussion and we (and myself) should be above the petty attacks that don't mean anything (whether it be from SC2 fans or DOTA fans or whatever).

You have no idea how loudly I laughed. So true... While technically you're right it's the shutdown that makes it particularly funny.

I was thinking of the reddit thread more. I quickly google'd "PAX Dota2 LoL" and that was the first result. If you want the reddit thread, here it is: http://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/1lhzhw/lack_of_dota_2_at_pax_players_being_told_they/ I'm not too sure how you think that TL thread is decent toward the any community. You have some rose-tinted glasses on in regards to this topic. There are a lot of LoL regulars in that TL thread.

The rework seems to hav emade him even less viable if that was possible by nerfing his early game and making it impossible to function on him once your behind (w is useless when behind, so is e, so is R.) He simply cannot function once hes at a disadvantage, and since his earlygame is so weak its too often hes at that disadvantage. I really hope that they do stuff like remove the minimum range on axe, rework his w so that its actually useful (LOL AA focused champion that has no gapcloser) rework his e so that it isnt so useless earlygame (it feels like in trades it shouldnt do any damage to myself at all, since its weaker then skills that dont have a downside). Hes just trash tier right now, and needs alot of help. Edit: its not even the numbers right now, his kit just doesn't work in league of every1 needs 2 gapclosers or else they suck. And hes not even stronger 1v1 vs those champions that have the gapclosers either.. Edit2: upon thinking on it what he needs is a massive defensive steroid (Like his ult used to be..) that he can pop when he runs in so that he doesnt simply die instantly.
