That Zzitai kill on Uzi was painful to watch mostly because it was 100% Uzi's fuckup for not using Q/ult and going up to auto him instead.

Unless uzi had flash up and could flash over the a wall I don't see how the R shadow wouldn't have gotten him.

If he didnt walk into auto range, Zzitai would have to burn W to get in range to ult. Possibly not even that given that Uzi more or less walked from minigols if I remember correctly.

Oh yeah, you're right on that. I think if uzi just ulted, zzitai would've W towards him then ulted to cancel it, and then maybe still killed uzi. But going up to auto him is definitely a bad call. Looking at it more I think uzi still dies, even if zzitai has to blow W to gapclose. The botrk healing is too strong.
I think the only way uzi doesn't die is if he doesn't come within WR range and ults then(if zzitai lives, it's by the skin of his teeth, not familiar enough with caitlyn damage to be sure).

Would Youmuu's Ghostblade be any good on Lucian?
The active seems like it would synergize well with his ult. Not sure if the rest of the stats would make it slot efficient, though.

if uzi e+q at the end of that exchange he's safe 100% and maybe kill zz1tai, esp if he can chain that + ult afterwards (right before ward expires)
because the line of the shadow to retreat and zed's current position after the first jump would line up with the q and the e would get him out
but either way on that spot its a very weird situation, im sure neither uzi nor ryu went against zeds going that hard that low on hp lol
