Before I head off for the night, I just want to comment about the general behavior and sentiment of TL LoL over the past few weeks. Yes, I understand that we are rather hivemind-like. We enjoy each other company but we are also getting a little too hostile about dissenting ideas and opinions.
I would rather not have to implement more rules and restrictions on our subforum in regards to posting, so I'm asking all of you to be able to discuss in TL LoL GD without becoming snide or belligerent.

As far as forum hatred goes, I will be the first to admit bly's condescension towards those who attempted to cast/provide analysis who are not pros got on my nerves, and at times PX's attitude and blatant in-your-face attacks at tried-and-true ideas can get to me as well. In my opinion though Xil deserved none of the hatred he got because I don't remember him ever being belligerent about his ideas and his questions as the others I have mentioned have done in the past. (Yes, he has since shown himself to be a bit of a dick by pulling duo mid shenanigans, I am aware.)
I don't honestly know where I was going with that, but it honestly pains me to see our forum acting in this way sometimes, even when people may deserve it. I get that we're a tight-knit community but let's try to rise above the elitism and demeaning attitude that can sometimes come with it. We're better than that.

Well; midlaners now a days definitely buy more wards than before; they definitely help shore up a lot of map vision. The issue is the impact of those ward costs is felt much more by supports than mid laners due to income. As far as toplane goes; their position (away from dragon) usually means they only need selfish wards, to prevent ganks, and roaming lane opponents.
