Through all of the trials TL LoL has gone through today, through all of the Ohmwrecker hate, the champion theme discussion, even that really disconcerting nostalgia phase of those last few pages, we were losing our way. We were just wandering the forests of productive, informative, and insightful discussion backed up by solid facts, long paragraphs of reasoning, and even some small reconciliation between people arguing. We were off of our path, and we couldn't see the light. It might have been a good few hours before we decided to collectively hate something.
Not until one man decided to shoulder the hate on his back and bring TL LoL back into it's Sports/Games-Subforum Promised Land. He'll take your hate. He'll take your pain. Because, dammit, Stupidity loves TL LoL, and he'll do whatever it takes to make sure the land he loves stays pristine and pure.
So Thank You, Stupidity, from a typically passive admirer of your tear-enducing heroics for the sake of the thread.
... My posting quality has really gone down the toilet today :|
EDIT: Oh rofl, I finish typing and there's a full page of buffer from that comment. You guys really smelled blood there, lol

Before I head off for the night, I just want to comment about the general behavior and sentiment of TL LoL over the past few weeks. Yes, I understand that we are rather hivemind-like. We enjoy each other company but we are also getting a little too hostile about dissenting ideas and opinions.
I would rather not have to implement more rules and restrictions on our subforum in regards to posting, so I'm asking all of you to be able to discuss in TL LoL GD without becoming snide or belligerent.
Thank you.

People treated him badly long before he admitted to that. As far as forum hatred goes, I will be the first to admit bly's condescension towards those who attempted to cast/provide analysis who are not pros got on my nerves, and at times PX's attitude and blatant in-your-face attacks at tried-and-true ideas can get to me as well. In my opinion though Xil deserved none of the hatred he got because I don't remember him ever being belligerent about his ideas and his questions as the others I have mentioned have done in the past. (Yes, he has since shown himself to be a bit of a dick by pulling duo mid shenanigans, I am aware.)
I don't honestly know where I was going with that, but it honestly pains me to see our forum acting in this way sometimes, even when people may deserve it. I get that we're a tight-knit community but let's try to rise above the elitism and demeaning attitude that can sometimes come with it. We're better than that.

Speaking of Kassadin and hating on people who post dumb things, you guys remember that Pandontheto guy? The one who we laughed at for going Smite Kassadin, and then got incredibly defensive for an entire Kassadin thread? What ever happened to that guy lol

Well; midlaners now a days definitely buy more wards than before; they definitely help shore up a lot of map vision. The issue is the impact of those ward costs is felt much more by supports than mid laners due to income. As far as toplane goes; their position (away from dragon) usually means they only need selfish wards, to prevent ganks, and roaming lane opponents.

Can someone fill me in about bly? Ive been around on and off since like 2011 and i dont know who that fucker is. Actually i think i sorta remember the name zulunation8, but didnt pay enough attention to the subforum to notice what he did? There was a frustrated man named Bly He was good at LoL He went to TL LoL hoping to impart his wisdom with the plebians that mucked about there. But slowly, the stupidity and foolishness of these lesser beings added weight to his soul and he became more bitter and hateful Eventually, instead of imparting wisdom he slapped noobs down brutally, blood dripping from his palm. The hate he had for the stupidity of TL LoL made him leave, seeking places where Sufficiency wasn't. Srs, everyone in GD is high today :| He actually frequents civfanatics. Sufficiency got about 500 posts there within 3 weeks.

I actually got pissed off with his inability to accept he was in the wrong when he first arrived. Then after that the constant snide remarks (that apparently nobody else picked up on) about Dota > LoL which our subforum took, ignored and made into a decent conversation lol.
And then there is the duo mid bullshit, which is pretty much expected of someone portrayed the way he did himself
Either way, i feel like his attitude, not skill is improving day by day on here lol
I also missed the stupidity drama, damn me
EDIT: I see plenty of newcomers come in Wave. I mean does anyone know where the fuck I came from or who the fuck i am? Nope. I just sorta arrived, started trolling and asking questions. Nobody shat all over me because i wasnt a douche (well..) Many other people come in the same way, ive seen it and i still see them stick around.Tight-knit has nothing to do with it, we are very accepting of the RIGHT people, first impressions mean alot and its something this community abides by imo, if you're a dick when you arrive, your a dick untill proven otherwise. Which could take a while, and Xil isnt doing himself any favors in that department by pulling shit like duo-mid and openly defending it. (Although i said i feel his posting is improving personally) Its just the way this sub-community is and i actually like it. Nobody is ever forced out unless they pull stupidity-levels of crap.

I wasn't here for Xil's entrance into TL :[ All I saw of his posts were him saying he would go mid even if it was already picked. That gives me a terrible impression of him.
