You have to realize that you're probably one of the people you're criticising. If you mute the four people in your game at the start and you still can't make it out of silver, it's best to accept that you're one of the ~30% of the population that belongs in silver.
Why do I have to mute my allys? This is a team game and I realize this. Without communication, how am I supposed to play this game when I don't know what others are trying to do and they don't know what I'm trying to do?

Turns out that everyone is emotionally inconsistent and will, for the most part, match the vibe you set in game. Stop thinking "I know I'm better than everyone else here" because that's what everyone else thinks and it gets you absolutely nowhere. So having that kind of mindset is solo-queue suicide. TLDR just be nice I am nice in game. My teammates are all douchebags like wei2coolman.

Use /ignore; it works like a charm. As for getting up in elo, you really just gotta get good enough to the point were you can carry 4 idiots against 5 idiots. That tends to mean crushing your lane and making good calls/decisions. I find that people tend to listen to your calls if you aren't flaming at them and if you're doing well (ie. good KDA). Every single game like LoL, including Dota, has problems with a toxic community/playerbase partially because outcomes are so dependent on your team. I consider myself pretty good. I can consistently lane against Plat/Diamond players without a problem. Just when I go to solo queue, I get idiots such as wei2coolman on my team. The stereotypical League player who is a condescending asshole and also sucks dick at this game.
I'm sorry, but if what you're saying is true (consistent laning against diamond's/plats, shouldn't you be crushing silver lane opponents? I mean you should essentially be shit stomping 9/10 lanes in your solo queue games if that's the case. And if you somehow are doing that, and your team is managing to consistently lose, but the 9 other people in the game are as bad as you say, something is seriously wrong with some decision making or team fighting somewhere. I mean, believe it or not, your team's idiots are generally going to be about as good as their teams idiots.

Why do you not believe that elo hell exists? Especially in a team game where everything is random and not completely in your hands? I can do well in game, but that doesn't mean my team will do well and games are essentially toss ups.

Because if there're 10 people in games, you are the only good one, and the other 9 are idiots, so your team has 1 less idiot than the other team and will generally win in the long run.

Do you know what's the difference between your team and the enemy team; every single game? YOU. You are the defining constant for each and every fucking game. You want to talk about shitty teammates? Guess what, the other team has 5 of them; not 4. Every game you lose; it's on your shoulders. You want to know how to get out of it? Get good; start fucking lifting; better yet; start doublelifting. Get to the point that you're so good, you don't need teammates. That's how. Complaining about shitty teammates only proves your weakness; mentally and physically.
