Seeing as how I'm in Bronze, that is usually some combination of Blitz, Malph, Amumu, or Shen (I've never understood this one personally). Some people also rage if you don't ban Hecarim. My last ban is personal one, depending on how I'm feeling, or if I want to prevent a counter, or I'm just plain sick of seeing a champ. Recently I have banned Zed, Kassadin, Fizz, Zac, Thresh (when is he going to replace Blitz?) and Kennen. But I really hate Kennen, so that's a hate ban. | ||

Imo the most important thing about banning is reducing the possibility of someone raging that you didn't ban X. | ||

And yeah, lower elo (silver i am) i tend to just ban the standard picks or i get raged at and things go to shit. I usually try and wing it so im playing against whatevers left open too, so people dont get facerolled / demoralised / mad at the "OP" champ their facing. League is mentality management simulator im sure of it. On another topic, how do people deal with playing with friends who are just plain bad? I mean i can deal with them sucking shit and feeding, but the untold amounts of rage about shit that is just plain wrong drives me insane and if i open my mouth it just gets worse with them explaining why im wrong and they are right. How do you cope with that lol. | ||

I honestly think the game is in a pretty decent spot in solo que in that there are no complete MUST bans. | ||

5 years ago, all of the people in net cafe were playing dota. now all of the people in net cafe were playing league. I tried to search someone playing dota, but I cant find anyone. I think that implys why Chinese dota are declining | ||

I was trash at this game for a long time but I feel like I've figure out a lot of stuff and turned a corner, partly from reading the TL GD thread at work so often! So I've been playing none stop Darius top and am on an insane streak, steadily burning through gold (in gold 2 promo atm) with something like 15 consecutive Darius wins. I'm thinking about putting a solid guide together going in depth on matchups and jungler interactions in lane. Also covering the decision making behind when to splitpush / team fight, as well as the basics of itemisation / rune pages etc. It would probably be a work in progress with the matchups when i find time though. Also I don’t really know anything about formatting thread on here... We all know it wont get read if it isn't shiny and cool looking! | ||

Click the BBCode button and it will give you a lot of info. You can also find a guide that you like and quote it to steal the formatting. Give credit where credit is due of course  As far as I know, as long as you mention your league and rank (so lowbies like me can be in awe and high eloers can scoff (but hopefully give feedback)) it is totally fine to make the guide. The biggest part is being willing/able to update it when it warrants it. | ||

EQ = 358 + 8% max opponent hp WQ = 453 Both assume 4 autos. However, you have to consider that WQ assumes they stood in your burnout for the full duration of 7 seconds. I want Shyv to see more play. | ||
