Just be glad that they haven't introduced Try-Vlad-Gar. The 575 Range Manaless ADC.
Passive: Furiocity. TVG gains 10 Furyocity for each autoattack and 25 for each spell cast. At 100 Furiocity TVG gains 25% od his AD as bonus AD and All spellcasts have bonus effects. Deteriorats 1/s when out of combat.
Q: TVG Drains life from the target, restoring Vladgar's health for the amount drained.
Bonus: Places Critical Wounds on Target
W: TVG Dashes to the target location
Bonus: TVG Gains V/W/X/Y/Z Attack speed for A seconds
E: TVG Throws a thing at a guy. This slows the guy.
Bonus: The root is now a snare.
R: TVG Stealths Instantly Getting 100 Furiocity
Bonus: If cast with 100 Furiocity TVG can re-activate within 5 seconds restoring 50% life and restealthing.

I'm mostly just excited about watching Doublelift play Lucian (a high mobility champ). A built-in semi-cleanse/dash is going to be invaluable for an ADC. Of course it all comes down to numbers and what his AA range will be and whether his spells/procs are magic or physical damage.

Pretty cool script he's got running. Really simple but effective. He misprogrammed the latern toss though IMO. I see only like 1/3 of the souls getting picked up by the lantern.

A kit doesn't have to be super innovative and awe inspiring to be interesting. Ez is just a jump and skillshots, which is pretty standard for any champ really, but because his kit's focus on Q it gives him a completely different feel from every other AD. It used to be super different when he had a damn heal and AS slow but it was also pretty fucking broken.
I think the best kits are the ones that just play damn different, like Singed or Swain. Neither is super strong right now sure, but they're both really different and interesting from a design point because they don't follow the formulas of their roles. You have to have a different mindset when playing them, you have to play against them differently.
Not every champ can be innovative and different, but honestly with 100+ champs it's really starting to get repetitive and a bit bland. I'd rather they spent another 2 months without a champ and design a more interesting kit. Hell Aatrox is pretty bland even though I think his design is sick, Lucian much of the same. They could have done a lot more with a dual wielding idea, they could have focused on mobility but given him no steroid and slightly lower damage, etc. Instead we get a dull passive and a standard skillshot/dash kit.

The problem I have is that Riot is developing champs from roles, rather than developing champs from kits, and letting players decide what role the champ should play.

So I'm hoping that his bundle skin will be Matrix Lucian. So much awesomeness o.o

Viktor has decent kill potential but because he can't really 100-0 people unless he commits his Flash, probably Ignite, and has other items on top of Augment:Death, it usually just requires him to hit several E which ends with people zoning themselves and farming from afar/trying to nuke the wave (fuck you Lux, TF, Anivia and other snoozefest-when-behind fail proof mids) so you just roam and try to kill other lanes.

Honestly the (lane-assignment) meta makes solo queue go so much smoother. Imagine if you had to discuss whether you're sending AP+support bot or AD+support bot or doing double jungle or no jungle or dual mid every single time you entered a queue, only to end up with AP+support bot, AP mid, AP top, and AP jungler. The meta ensures that even groups of people with absolutely no concept of team composition can come up with a serviceable team comp.

It evolved like that from days when you had ADC solo mid and stuff like blitz/ali bot. Do you remember S1 worlds? ADC/Support bot was still called "EU style" back then

I been away from the game for a bit and just ran into a couple of people who swear that nunu is #1 ban priority. I don't see nunu as being ban worthy period.... Is he that good now? I thought he was still kinda just ok in the current swing of things. This is in Silver btw.
