Agreed, I used to live in Vegas (Henderson to be exact) and I've been in Portland for two years now, and seriously it's the best place ever.
Also South East Portland is the best.

Seattle is nice and all, but its not quite as chill as Portland. Eliminate sales tax and I'd consider Seattle having more of an edge.

I used to work out a lot, but kinda stopped since I took up martial arts and I don't have much time.
Anyway, sometimes friends would randomly comment, "Wow, you look like you've been working out recently!" And really, the only reason is because I'm wearing smaller clothes.
So maybe that's your problem.

My brother lived in MexicanTown in Detroit for a while, felt pretty sketch when me and my parents visited. Lots of abandoned, broken down buildings. Graffiti everywhere. On the other hand, best Mexican food ever.
