The things that make a "hardcore" MOBA that way are not the same things that make a game like Starcraft "hardcore". It's just a matter of choice/opinion/illogical prejudices. In the case of LoL, there are plenty of people who just find the game more fun/relaxing/have more friends playing the game. You make a good point, go figure. I guess it just seems that way since no former BW content creators decided to cover LoL and either stuck with SC2 or started covering Dota as their MOBA of choice. But LoL is still in it's infancy though, the personalities will develop.

Then, he just suicides into the turret. I've seen a guy proxy farm at level 1, but not to this level. I thought it's brilliant and incredibly hilarious, and I have no idea how to stop it. Post on the forums: Seriously, this ruins PvP interaction in the laning phase as you're forced to either A) ignore the player doing this and just farm or B) try to stop him. Option A is something Riot has openly admitted they HATE (players ignoring each other in lane) and Option B is simply not viable due to how much you fall behind if you miss an entire wave of experience/CS. Singed is the most blatant offender of this. There's currently a player who got to Diamond I by abusing this mechanic to the fullest extent possible. He begins by farming in between the enemy team's turrets at level 1, forcing the jungler to constantly gank him. Eventually he becomes worth as little gold as a blue wraith, making the difficult to kill Singed not worth killing as he continues pushing to the nexus. Before anyone claims that this strategy is stupid and ineffective, check out the LolKing of the player I'm talking about: http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/21239848#ranked-statsAs of right now, he is the highest win rate Singed in Diamond with a monstrous 70.7% win rate over 140 games played. Honestly, it doesn't surprise me that he wins far more games than he loses with this strategy (even when he goes 1-12 he wins). The amount of pressure he exerts from doing this is just too much and requires the enemy team to commit far too many resources to prevent him from winning the game for his team. VIDEO of this strategy being used against one of the best top laners in the world TSM Dyrus: http://www.twitch.tv/tsm_dyrus/b/409026360?t=6h7m30sAnother entertaining video, this time he farms all lanes from inside the enemy base (AT LEVEL 6): http://www.twitch.tv/robertxlee/b/409688891?t=1h30m30sReddit AMA and mini-guide by the creator of this strategy Druiddroid: http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1epw32/iama_proxy_at_level_1_singed_that_just_reached/ This kind of game breaking stuff is what I live for ^_^ Slight exaggeration but I love this. Wait...1.2 KDA and 8.4 deaths per game? nvm I was wrong. He is bad. hahaha he's diamond 1 with a 71% win-ratio with his best champ he's not only not bad, he's insanely good It was a sneak jab about the discussion a few back where people were trying to determine how good an ally was by win rates or KDA. Also I love Dyrus' stream. I found this gem of a song: + Show Spoiler +
I always hear songs on streams that I want to check out. How the heck did you catch what it was?

By the way, wtf is with this SOTLE on every plausible champion? Isn't this what everyone predicted would happen when they came out with Machete and the buffed jungle?
