We had originally planned for Aphromoo to take over my spot top lane when I stepped down. Unfortunately, after several weeks spamming top and taking a short break after this Spring Split of LCS, he decided his heart just wasn't in top lane. I can respect that. Props to Aphro and I'm sure he'll have no trouble finding a team to play ADC on being as popular as he is. I feel like Nien's heart isn't in top lane either and don't think switching roles is as easy as Chauster/HSGG seem to think it is. Could be wrong though. HSGG has got a point when he says the actually season doesn't even really matter and it'll give Nien plenty of time to learn it though. We shall seeeee. I like Jiji and Nien as people (is that the gayest thing I've ever said?) so I kind of want CLG to succeed more now than ever. Seems like all of a sudden CLG turned into the nice guy team lol. | ||

He doesn't have the other super profitable option like aphro though, which is streaming and making at least the same $$$ he gets from LCS - the stress. | ||

Definitely respect Aphro for not wanting to Top lane. Plus I really like his ADC and would love to see him picked up. I know for myself I just don't like the traditional bot lane in general. Same as you, except when I play AD Nami or Cait. I think a better ranking might be what % of time you play each role. 70% Support 25% Jungle 5% Other (Top ~ Mid > ADC) | ||

I expect nien to do fine in top.Would be very surprised if he is bad or good.He is just going to be average for most of the season. Jiji on the other hand I want to believe he'll wreck everyone but I doubt it  .Also chaulift most overrated bot lane ever.Don't get me wrong they were good but the way they talk about that combo is like it was something godly that noone could even go even against which is simply false.To be honest bot lane was by far the least developed lane at that point in the game. | ||

Fill>ADC>Sup=~=Top>Mid>>>>>>>Jungle Fill mostly because I do like to respect calls if they aren't too egregious and polite...which usually leads to me playing support. Unless it's jungle, because I haven't been good at that since mid S2 lol (my jungle is really, really hit or miss). EDIT: Also, Nien going top is interesting given he's got the mechanics. We'll see how he transitions, but transitions are generally hard to make in such a short time frame. I'm mostly doubtful CLG will be able to make it into Worlds. Likely, NA will send TSM (always a strong contender with a solid lineup), plus potentially any other LCS team (given how the playoffs turned out). | ||

Didn't he say he wanted jungle because he felt like he couldn't carry as support? Now he's back on support because he couldn't carry in da jungle (among other reasons). I only remember Chauster playing whacky shit like Galio support but I mean I'm sure he can play up to LCS NA standards but Chau ain't no Godlife. Doesn't even possess an inkling of Godlife's powers. I think Chau's probably the most over rated player NA and has been for a long time. | ||
