So me and a couple of wood league friends have been having a discussion and we can still not decide whether flat ar/pen or flat ad marks are the best. Can you guys on TL please have a 10 page discussion on it when neo and moon bear are asleep?

But you can't choose to learn something specific in ARAM because you have no idea what you're getting. If I want to play something in SR I'll always have a couple of Dom games first to learn how all the abilities work and how I perform in certain situations in teamfights.

Dom games almost never have 5v5 fights though, and those are the most important when you really need to know what your role is in said fight, and what your champion can go do to get the results you want.

True. It's not perfect but it does give you an idea about what you're capable of with equal itemization in skirmishes and the like. I generally only play a couple of games on brand new champs just to learn how their abilities work.

Just had a game with a taric top lane, and he demolished singed. My mind is so full of fuck right now.
|
i advocated dominion as a way to practice map awareness and teamfight a long time ago, or rather i said that people who already had good map awareness and teamfight would adapt to dominion and find it more fun than those who didnt.
but then you end up like me with a 15-20 minute queue and then its better to just play a normal game on SR. now i have to smurf. :/
|
I just play normals if I want to try a new champ.... ._. It's silly to skip laning phase when trying to learn a champ. In laning that's where you learn most of your trading potential and what you can get away with.
|
My personal strategy to learn a champion is just to play in a custom 1v5 vs bots. Not really realistic, but once you get a good grasp of what every skill does, you can jump right into a game provided you have a good framework and know what exactly you want to be doing.

Just got back from PAX!
I have a whoooooole bunch of skin codes. Once I give some to friends, I'll give the rest to TLers. Do skin codes still work once for NA and once for EU?
|
I'd love a Riot Graves code if you have a spare.
I think the answer to your question is yes, they do work once for each region.
|
Some guy posted an NA rammus skin here and an Euro said it worked so I guess it does.
|
I will certainly have extras, just got to make sure IRL friends get some first.
All extras shall be donated to the lovely TLers
