Actually, at anything higher than bronze level, WoW was more about skill and comp than about time spent. However, it took a lot of time to even be allowed to enter bronze. Which sounds odd. Sundance built a scene for that from the ground up with his bear hands. I don't know anything about the WoW eSports scene but I'd be willing to bet that the size of WoW's scene in Europe was probably pretty close to the size of Halo's scene in the US and Canada. And I think CS was bigger than both of them anyways.
