If you're at 80+ points you'll drop to like 4-6 a win but normal points for a loss, and it'll keep doing that till your MMR is so fucked that at 75 you get 30 points for a win and advance to a series. | ||

I have been lurking the TL LoL subforum/thread since Christmas 2011 when I downloaded LoL. I knew the type of people TL attracted and I knew those were the type of people I wanted advice from. Since I started lurking (and even more so since I started posting with the subforums now) the discussion of TL sponsoring LoL has been here. Now hear me out, but have you guys ever considered pulling a Nazgul and just saying, "Well fuck. I love this game and I want everyone to share my passion for it - let's make a website dedicated to it." I don't know if me suggesting splitting off from TL is heresy/blasphemy (it kinda feels like it), but in all honesty there really isn't a good community site dedicated to League of Legends. There is no TL of LoL. I would be MORE than happy to help code and maintain a website dedicated to League of Legends. I know TL LoL is understaffed but something like this might open up the possibility for more help. I know there are a bunch of programmers even here on TL who could help and some IRL friends who love LoL and programming. Even now I am working on a website for a LCS Fantasy league with gtrsrs (sorry if this was a surprise!) but it is in the early stages and we could easily transition it to the TL of LoL. Even as I type this I am getting really excited about the prospect (although I still feel like I am cheating on TL) - but that could be the programmer in me. It just seems to me, and to many people here, that TL won't pick up LoL in the near, far, or ever future. Maybe MoonBear and Neo know more (I did see a MoonBear "something is coming soon(tm)) and this idea is terrible but I would love to hear your thoughts? Comments? Support? Pitchforks? Edit: And sunavabitch. If people agree to this and we have a crazy famous TL esque LoL website because of my post I am going to be SO upset that this was my 99th post and not my 100th haha. | ||

I personally feel a kinship with the long time posters here I don't care if it ever gets bigger, I get my news/updates from surrender@20 then come here to hang out, I can only read so many TIL caster minions do more damage than melee minions despite giving less gold before I go mad. or that "howtotoplane" guy who would just reccomend "play Yorick lol" for every matchup and gets upvoted to the front page instantly on each new video. | ||

My pitchfork is already sharpened from all this Reddit drama, but I'll do my best to keep it out of this (jokes) Basically it's a good idea in theory, but just wouldn't work out in the end. Trying to pick up a community like this (even as small as it is) and trying to transplant it somewhere else isn't as easy as flipping a switch. A lot of people here have a history and TL that they have built up for years, even before they started posting in the LoL Subforum. Neo's been part of TL for forever, he's not just going to up and move the staff just because they won't officially cover LoL (which he believes is a justifiable stance at the moment). So no, not the craziest idea ever, but the logistics just kind of go against it. On another note, I'm all for a TL LoL created fantasy system. Consider doing scoring on a champ by champ basis so Yango doesn't have to lose his mind about it. | ||
