To be fair though, while I might be considered a 'TL LoL veteran' by some simply due to the sheer length of time I've been around here, I'm not sure if I'd really consider myself as such.

I don't undergo massive bouts of theorycrafting, or bring solid arguments or even any general game skill to brag of to the subforum so I certainly don't know if I'd expect anyone new to respect me right off the bat, especially if they have anything at all to teach me.

I hope these things weren't written in stone by the hand of God because if so he's prone to typos. #2 especially (proficient -> proficiency, specialize -> specialized).
