I don't think switching top and bot works well vs CLG.EU's comp. Rumble is at least as safe as GP farming 1v2, and ezreal/alistar have a lot more kill potential

Both exciting, but first blood worth more. That is people value showing kills more than showing a buff steal. You did see that whoever is doing that spectating work did go back and show that malphite had the blue.

A minute later, on midlane: Malphite emerges from the underwoods again, blessed by the Ancient Golems. Astonished how he managed to wrestle this blessing from three opposing champions, people went to ask him. Unfortunately, a stone cannot talk. Tonight, no one will sing the song of how Malphite outwitted his enemies. Srsly. WTF casters.

There really is not that much new, and its pretty much common knowledge what champions CLG like to play. I think it's somewhere in between those two statements. It surprises me fairly often at how little teams do to scout out their competition, especially in an offline tournament. Granted, that's not to say that M5 didn't watch how CLG.eu won their OGN games. It is actually quite interesting when in post-game interviews teams choose to reveal what kind of preparation they put in. Most teams tend to prepare much more against other teams from the same region (aka NA v NA, EU v EU) but it starts to drop off rapidly beyond that. Part of this is probably due to the fact you can't check someone's match history on a different Server Region. But it's also harder to watch someone else's stream if they don't stream in your timezone. The most egregious example of a team completely overlooking another team's practise in my opinion has still got to be the first round if IPL4. aAa played against CLG and let CLG take Shen first pick and lost as a result of that. Post-game interview they revealed that they spent all their preparation time on NA teams exclusively on CLG and thought they would be extremely prepared. From watching past CLG games, they thought they could handle HSGG Shen in lane, and then in his splitpush. However, they neglected to realise that in between IEM and IPL4 that HSGG had made major revisions to his Shen build which meant none of their counters worked. They also didn't watch his stream so they didn't see his new build in action. So they lost really badly.
