Any ranged ADs with such effects? Don't think so. Therefore blind serves the intended purpose better as it is most effective against them.

But w/e, 2 ranged DPS still OP endgame so who cares?

Is there any site that is to LoL what TL is to SC2/BW? I enjoy the LoL forums here but I feel this is a pretty small sub-community and most posts are limited to the general discussion and specific heroes. I am looking for a site with constant high-level discourse on the state of the game/strategies/balance/heroes/patches/etc.
I have tried the official LoL forums but those are trash, even the "strategy/guide" section is terrible, just like the Blizzard Forums for SC2. I know mobafire is decent for guides but 99% of them are just item builds with little about the game in general. I recently found Reign of Gaming which has nice tier lists as well as some interesting articles.
Is there another site that I am missing that fills this void? The LoL community is huge and active but I can't seem to find anything with the professionalism and helpfulness I have come to expect from TL.

I think Ashe's autocrit is expended even if it misses, and Caitlyn's Headshot still builds up stacks on missed attacks (even if the Headshot proc itself will miss and be expended).

Not really. Closest thing is TL LoL. Solomid/Curse/CLG all just kinda trollfests.

In fact, I don't know of any other fansite that has a dedicated Wrench, multiple high Elo players with competitive experiences, proper forum moderation and tournament coverage.

Yeah this is one of those questions we get every week or so. I was talking with someone about this, and the thing is, there will NEVER be a site for LoL as TL is to SC2/BW because of how large the community is right now and how spread out it is over multiple sites.
TL succeeded because it filled a niche that had yet to exist at that point in time and grew steadily from there. LoL has multiple info sites, multiple discussion sites, multiple data sites and an absolutely insane number of forums on which the MILLIONS of players are all spread out.

I looked at rog's teir list once and it had twitch as a top teir champion. never went back to that site again.

In an unrelated note I've got 3 SMITE closed beta keys and I'll gladly give them out to anyone who wants them from here. First come first serve.

Alright thanks for the advice, so next question: is there anything for LoL like a Day9 Daily is for SC2? Day9 really helped me improve my SC2 skill with deep analysis and strategy/tactics discussion. I checked out this guy WinRaR who does a show Game of Throwns in which he analyzed CLG.EU vs M5 games but most of his analysis was of picks and he only spent about 3 minutes analyzing the actual gameplay.
If you can't tell I am kind of stuck at my current LoL skill level and am looking for ways to get better beyond just playing.

Play twitch like you'd play teemo. Win games!

Studio does some pretty decent analysis. He's as close as you can get to the day9 of LoL

If you can't tell I am kind of stuck at my current LoL skill level and am looking for ways to get better beyond just playing. There's no dedicated Day[9] type person for LoL. Day[9] is pretty much a phenomenum exclusive to SC2. However, there are lots of instructional videos for certain champions or roles. The main issue is what sort of skill level content it's targetted at and finding the right videos. Some good places to start include Studio, the SoloMid VoD archive and VoDs from pro-player streams when they do tutorials (although these can be a bit harder to track down. GeneralWiser has some massive archives of streamers from CLG though.)

unfortunately, no. There simply isn't really such a resource available at the moment, partially due to a lack of replays (although to be fair, day9 didn't use replays to begin with either), but mostly because no1 that I know of has taken the time to work on it. It might be worth checking out state of the league? I know it isn't necessarily about 'getting better @ LoL' kind of thing, but u do get to hear a lot of pro's perspectives about different topics, and it might help you just in expanding your general game knowledge.
aside from that, browse TL's lol section.... If you do some searching, there are more 'general' gameplay guides around here, like there was a pretty decent discussion thread about AD carries recently, and some other stuff like that floating around.

I'd say just watch some streamers. Scarra if you want to learn stuff about mid. TheOddOne for jungle. Idk what else.

I have to say picking Janna as your first main champion to learn mechanics/understanding of the game/genre really spoils you when you pick other tanky supports/slow characters. This week been messing with Ali/Blitz. Lol soooooooooooooooooooo clunky. Even Anivia is surprisingly slow lol.
Speaking of which hows this for Anivia: Sorc Boots> Chalice> Deathcap> Anthene's> Void Staff> Hourglass...... She seems really really mana intensive so Chalice seems good assuming you don't constantly have blue on you. Plus its nice you can uppgrade it into something nice now. WoTa doesn't seem right on her, and most games end before or during when I get hourglass. Maybe a DFG is good on her?
