After looking more, I'm fairly certain the Ryze changes are a buff like people were saying. I don't know why they call this a nerf/change in the preview, all Ryze players would get at least a WotA, maybe a Void staff anyway, now they'll just get more from it and AA will be borderline OP on him. And the change to his E sounds like it'll make lane harass stupid. RoA new core item on him 100% of the time, imoimo.
I wonder how much MR those supports will get. It's a nice buff, and all on aggressive supports/jungles, so that might be encouraging that type of play a bit.

along with 2200 other viewers
i'm seeing him in a vayne/ahri bot lane versus garen/caitlin, so i can tell right off the bat that he's at like 1k, 1.2k elo at best. my girlfriend tells me that his face-cam angle is awful and had too much blank space above his ugly head (her words). and i see him typing in chat "you're a fucking faggot i have 2k viewers land your skillshots" and "jesus you're so terrible kill yourself you faggot fucking fuck fuck" etc etc... is there a reason people watch this stream instead of mine? i'm much better looking than him (her words), i give analytical reasoning to my actions, i don't blame my teammates for my mistakes, i man up for my actions, i recognize both my good plays and my bad plays, and what's more, i'm not fucking awful at this game. i talk to the camera and i don't have my keybinds on 1110000% volume so all you can hear is "CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLACK CLACK CLACK", i try to explain why a matchup is favorable, honestly, i don't know how he isn't permabanned with that kind of attitude let alone streaming to 2k people. besides the fact that my video card isn't quite up to par so my stream is a bit choppy (working on fixing this!) can someone explain why this nooblord has approximately 1995 viewers than me? i honestly am not trying to bash NeoDestiny (although from his stream, he clearly deserves the bashing) but rather trying to find out what i can do to net another 2k viewers.

Predicting Amumu nerfs not too far into the future. It's about time people figure him out, and the +MR/lvl helps a bunch. He's one of the last few champs with 1.0 AP ratios, and I'm sure you remember how AP Alistar did with his 2 melee spells not too long ago.
Amumu's a bit tricky to get farmed, but a clever team can work around that.
Also: WTF yet ANOTHER gold/10 build path?
Well I guess at least gold/10 creates some early vs lategame strength tradeoffs that can be abused... But seriously, stacking gold/10 items is kinda being set in stone by Riot. Then at some point they will realize that they don't actually like it when people build the same items all the time, and they will have to rework them all over again.

Is it some sort of protest because Riot namechanged people with a champion in their name?

Destiny is Destiny, man. People love him for being "controversial", which is just alt-speak for "rage-y and rude". You're not going to top his numbers, since he's pulling in SC2 players as well. Just stream good and you'll get viewers. Another good way to get viewers is to rub elbows with popular people to gain fans, or have a personality in the community outside TL LoL, like on Reddit or something.

Dunno about the others, but I was watching Jacky when he changed it, and it was just because he wanted to tag his smurf with Crs and Veigar sounds better than Veggie. He just doesn't care that they already changed it from Veigar to Veggie once, guess he wants to have it as Veigar for as long as he can.

i streamed my g/f playing on my webcam tonight. she won a game at 1700 elo (kinda. i was actually playing but i'm sure i could ghetto rig my stream to look like she was playing) on top of that she's super pretty. honestly, and i'm not exaggerating here to prove a point, because i don't need to prove a point to the LoL subforum ( :smug: ) but my girlfriend is at least 10x hotter than whatever girl streamer is popular these days (pooksie? or somethig? riku? is riku even a girl? i don't even know, i don't watch girl streams because when i watch a stream, i want to get better LOL). just gotta find a way to incorporate my skill (admittedly, not even that high, but at least 64000x better than destiny) with her super-cutie almond blue eyes and i guess i have a hit?

Amumu isn't weak atm, just underplayed and underrated. I think the buff will bring him into fotm status.
DFG isn't such a bad item imo. An extra spell, regen and CDR, which are great stats for almost all APs, especially those who are more utility-focused and not 100-0 burst casters.

it's not featured. i'm not sure how to get it featured. i respect that smashgizmo, shakedrizzle, and locicero are all better players than i am so i understand WHY their streams are featured. destiny's stream is labeled "[LoL]" despite the fact that he's ... not a top LoL player, so i guess i don't know HOW you get featured. i've spoken with an admin and they told me i need a couple more weeks of consistent streaming for several hours, and then i could harass them about being featured. i've been streaming for the past week every day, at least a couple games. prior to that, i've streamed several tournament-level games and scrims. you can find my stream thread here:

i'm working on keeping the OP updated when i'm live, but the latest post should always indicate when i'm live if the OP doesn't. additionally, my stream has started to undergo some hiccups with a bit of choppiness during high action. i think this is due to the introduction of my webcam - i'm working on a fix atm. if it's too much trouble, i'll drop the webcam til i have a new video card or whatever hardware i need to stream. my stream is similar to shakedrizzle's - i pride myself on knowing when i made mistake, acknowledging when my teammates are carrying me, and noting what i can do better the next game. i try to be interactive and entertaining. i feel like my stream is the type that will only get better with MORE viewers - more people to interact with, more questions to answer, more opinions i can give from a semi-high-level of play. but i'm not really sure where i can get that foothold of initial base viewers. i'd really like if you checked it out :3 i should be streaming against tomorrow morning, in about 6 hours, for a couple hours before i go to work

You probably have to advertise your stream to get more views, like post on Official Forums, reddit, add you stream on Clg site and Solomid, etc...

Destiny is just e-famous for being somewhat decent in SC2 + having a "fun" stream. By "fun", I mean that he talks a lot of smack so people find it interesting 
People mostly go by own3d's, twitch's or TL's stream lists when they pick a stream to watch, so I guess if you're not high on one of those, you don't get as many viewers. Gonna watch your stream more often in the future as well as promote it among my LoL friends, it's not much but atleast it's something.
Just work your ass off to get your stream on the TL list and your viewership should increase, your stream is good.
