At the same time there are tons of male characters in this game designed to look sexy. To bring up other games is pretty pointless because this is the LoL sub-forums but to humor you I don't think it's wrong for game devs to have overly buff males nor do I think it's wrong for them to have women with huge breasts. These aren't sexist nor are they portraying an image of beauty that "real people just can't achieve." They are devices that developer's use to portray a character as physically attractive and it's a lot easier than making you find their personality attractive, especially in a game that has no real story like LoL or that's incredibly short such as a fighting game. While some of what you say is true, Riot artists themselves have stated that the design space for men is a lot more flexible than the design space for women. Even for the non-sexy female characters Riot does everything they can to emphasize how womanly they are, especially for later champions (boob breastplate, high heels). To some extent it's simply more acceptable to have male Gragas than female Gragas. Riot has admitted as much. Since woman characters need to look more "womanly", that basically means they need to look more like the ideal woman than the men need to look like ideal men, as a result greater visual demands are placed on the women. While it's arguable that there's parity in gender expectations it isn't necessarily visual parity and video games are a visual medium. It's also pretty easy to point to plenty of movements on the forums pretty much bent on making characters more "womanly": teen Annie, bunny Riven, human Anivia, non-helmeted Kayle, and catgirl EZ are the most popular that I can currently remember. Even without forum help several of Riot's own skins ideas are basically sex symbols: Jessica Rabbit MF, Officer Caitlyn, and Vayne steadily lost clothing with Dragonslayer and then Valentine's Day. While there has been the occasional thread for more man-candy the idea simply hasn't been popular, and Riot has never released a "Schwarzenegger" Gragas or Ezreal skin of their own accord or appear to do much to make their ideal men more sexy. The few skins that do show a lot of muscular man flesh are relatively few and far between and none have been connected with forum demands like bunny Riven or helmetless Kayle. I don't really think Ashe belongs in a group with Lux and Leona. Have you actually looked at non-queen Ashe lately? She's like Kat: tiny pants, bra strap, big boots. Queen Ashe itself, I'm pretty sure, is the only female skin in the game (out of a hundred) which increases the character's "modesty". Besides, there's been requests for sexy Leona too (though not nearly as popular as the other threads I mentioned). Honestly I'm not that mad at Riot for it in particular. I'm dissatisfied with culture as a whole. But that, as you said, is beyond the scope of this thread.

AND MOTHAFUCKIN KAYLE I don't know how Leona always makes this list when in going from her concept art to the final splash art they turned what looked like a sensible set of plate armor into what looks like a skintight bodysuit with a metal skirt. You can only sexualize a character who's supposed to be a knight in heavy armor so much, but as far as doing that, Riot pretty much went to their limits on Leona's design.

A female Gragas or muscular women would never be accepted, Riot certainly is limited in their champ designs.

Are underwear sellers objectifying women because they hire supermodels to model for them? Lol.
