one of the many problems clg.na have is that the "owner" also plays in the team. if the team sees that the guy, who should be most interested in making it a financial success, doesn't give a shit, then why should they. the huge viewer numbers for the top players streams also promote bad training habits and soloq mentality.

Problem with 2nd game: CLG pracced a strat, but when MiG picked up Graves that strat became impossible and I can only assume they started picking in a mild burst of panic, they did well though, until Saint decided to dive blind under turret and bring GG with him+ 2 buffs and oracle.
CLG will be leaving Korea, they booked plane tickets home same day. (think they said they leaving on 3rd of May on saints twitter.) Unsure if they will come back for OGN LoL summer, but not completely impossible.
As for all the rumours, where do you guys get this stuff? seriously...

I really enjoyed your pro insight on reasoning in certain situations. the selling of the brutalizer because of the armor from the other team was an interesting point. stuff like that usually goes pass by me (an average player).

also, were the Chinese DotA teams comparable to the Korean BW players in terms of dominance over the game?
No, but the only team - and it was one team - able to challenge them was the Ukrainian team Na'Vi, presently the best team in Dota 2 with a 95%+ win rate against other teams. I don't know LoL that well, but with how M5 is doing these days, I see the same trend developing. NA/EU teams flounder and fail, start blaming each other, disband, etc., while the Russians and Ukrainians win everything the Korean teams do not - you heard it here first.

No, I have real specifics, but I am not going to share them here, i've given enough of an idea.
And on an unrelated note, chauster jiji and dlift should go form their own team, hotshotgg will never be replaced on clg because he owns it, and both him and saintvicious have plateau'd and are cancerous to teamplay.

He was one of the most aware NA players a long while ago, then his ego grew way too quickly and now he is outclassed in every way. Players caught up in knowledge, and then surpassed him. He is still capable of some good plays here or there, but there are tons of players that can do that, however, there aren't many that can consistently make good decisions.

Or I can give people as much information as possible without getting too specific, if you don't care about it then move along. Some people would rather be 20% informed than 0% informed.
Chauster may have an ego, but more than anything his ego gives him the desire to become the best, michael jordan has an ego, kobe bryant has an ego, but they use it to their advantage, they use it to motivate themselves. People like hotshot and saintvicious use it to block out any criticism the world might have about them. Also ego can be healthy when you are very skilled or have a ton of potential and just need the motivation to get there. In hotshot and saintvicious' case they have reached their limit, their ego has them convinced they are significantly better than they actually are, so it hurts their team because they can't accept and play to what they are realistically capable of, and constantly bite off more than they can chew because they think they are capable of more than they are.

No, either you inform fully and we can verify ourselves or you just stop posting hearsay. If you don't like it, you can move along.
Being "20% informed" based off of what you've given the subforum is analogous to just spreading rumors.

So basically you are insinuating that you would rather be 100% ignorant to information than 80% ignorant... ok then... I guess i shouldn't be surprised...

Why should we believe your 20%? Without the other 80%, its almost certainly as useless as your other trolling.

Its just shocking coming from the BW and SC2 forums. I wasn't expecting this on TL.
edit: well, I guess SC2 general gets some of this, but I avoid it

You realise that at this point your saying you know this awesome stuff about how hotshot and becca have fucked up on several things. And you go out of your way to tell us they have but then refuse any and all attempts at actual information.
You want us to trust you on this, yet the last dozen times i have seen you post on various topics you have been trolling and or flat out wrong. No one on this forum has any reason at all to trust you on anything so right now you really are just throwing stuff out there for attention whoring and little else.

No more insinuations please.
CLG under performed and failed to make it out of the Ro8. You can chalk that up to any number of things (lack of practice, lack of motivation, predictability, etc). Assess it based on things we can verify (Chauster's AMA on CLG forum and Double's AMA on reddit are good places to start).
No one from CLG has said anything about HSGG and Becca, besides HSGG's utter lack of a drive to practice LoL while in Korea. Don't make it a personal issue unless an official source says otherwise, like someone from CLG.
Thank you.

This guy trolls a lot on here. I think a lot of people just tend to ignore him. Every community has bad eggs, even on TL.

CLG always tends to take things a bit less serious than other teams. We shouldn't forget this is the team that was on top for so long without practice. Only when other teams who actually practiced started to beat them did they begin trying to scirm as a team together.
Hopefully this will act as a good wake up call to them. As DreamHack did. And they can get their priorities straight and start practicing better.
As for an above statement, yes Chauster has a big ego. So does Doublelift. Jiji is about the only guy in CLG who doesn't have an ego and even then he probably has a bit of an ego in regards to his team. But the difference between Chauster and HSGG/saint is that he will drop a subject and he doesn't really rage. If someone on his team does something he thinks is dumb he calls them out but he doesn't embarass them or insult them as HSGG/saint often do.
edit: And honestly I don't think a team shift around is going to happen anytime in the near future. Not to mention that saint is still one of the best junglers so they can't just replace him. Hotshot is still a good solo top, just needs to learn a few new champions for top lane. I think ideal situation is that those two change their attitudes. It's not like Chauster, Double, or jiji are perfect. Every member of CLG has things they can improve on.
|
i just don't understand why hotshot still likes to play cho when it doesn't win any lanes vs bruiser tops and can still get shredded in seconds vs. farmed ADs or ADs with % damage.
