When you say 20Mbit/s, this number is your bandwidth. It is the maximum amount of traffic your connection is subscribed to take. 160ms is your latency, which is the round trip response time from the server. The two are often correlated in that if you're sending/retrieving a lot of traffic, sending/receiving will take longer. However, progressively more bandwidth free doesn't always mean progressively lower latency.

Anyhow, distance/bandwidth are only two of many factors that affect latency as it's possible to have vastly different routes, and thus, higher latency.

It's because not all people from NA are where the servers are, east/westcoast you know. I get like 160ping to NA but only 95ping to eu backup servers which are in na aswell.

Bandwidth is pretty much irrelevant when it comes to ping. Games use generally just a few kb/sec.

They are with the Fizz patch which is also the start of season 2. Which also means probably no replays for season 2. Riot, I am dissapoint.

WTF reginald is so retarded sometimes, he played karthus almost got carried by SYDTKO's vlad, regi kept initiating by flashing into the entire enemy team just to die and not kill anyone with him and now he talks a lot of trash at SYDTKO because he let sion get away even though Regi made way more mistakes this game... Using arguments like "ur a competitive player but u play like trash" o.o
