What? Sion's not going to go anywhere in like the 2 seconds longer it takes for Tormented Soil to kill creeps than your shield. It's Morg that outpushes Sion because she has way better mana efficiency than he does.
And any Morg that shields prematurely before the Cryptic Gaze particle is already in flight is terrible.

He was asking about Zilean specifically as a counter to Morg, and people in general have been having trouble countering Morg, so I just told him that Sion countered Morg, and if he can't use that information, then so what? Took him 10 seconds reading that.

Dunno, I've been beating decent Morg's as Sion and you can't always hit all 6 creeps with tormented soil, so it'll take longer than an additional 2 sec.

It's a while before shield can oneshot the whole wave like that. By that time, Morg could have already gotten the chance to roam a bit and the laning phase isn't gonna last much longer. Morg player's fault if he didn't take the chance. Sion's still pretty effective, though, because unlike others, he generally won't die to just a full combo from morg - meaning that you have more room for mistakes / aggression / putting yourself in vulnerable spots while farming than on other champs.
The most miserable I've been in a lane as Morgana, though, has been against Talon.

I like how Riot throws IP boosts at the playerbase when they win the contest when RuneScape players ACTUALLY got ingame content when Jagex won it last time (They got a unique Golden Hammer ingame with a unique emote). I'd say Jagex deserved it more even though i don't play the game anymore. As much as i love playing LoL, Riot does so much wrong with the game it's hilarious how they can win such an award.

I suck at explaining stuff like this, but until lvl 7 Sion should just stay in lane and farm alongside Morg, because that's all he can do until then (he can farm easily though), after lvl 7 when you get your boots of mobility you should be able to hit every melee creep once then explode your shield and then go to another lane or farm your own wraiths (your jungle should be happy to give them up at this point imo), and Morg will be left in lane for another 5-10 secs cleaning up the creeps while you can get to a lane faster than she can, and by the time she gets there you should've already disrupted the lane enough (gotten a kill or just forced your opponents to hug the turret for a while).
Anyway, I've been beating good Morganas doing this and I don't see why it wouldn't work.
On a sidenote: I would imagine that Talon also beasts Morgana like you said.
