You cannot harass the enemy down, you don't have the range, the mobility or even the damage because Q breaks within a second. TL;DR I suck at this hero I dunno how to play him Therefore he is bad Q E D
Fallacy of accident or sweeping generalization.
Droppin logic?
ONTOPIC:
Does everyone think balance means that every champion should be 50/50 against every other champion? I don't think this is what balance is or what it should be. If anything balance should be working on the outliers. (ie. Champions who dominate a vast majority of possible lanes or lose a vast majority)
That being I believe people complain about balance because since LoL is f2p not everyone has every champion AND they want to have 'fun.'
Take toplane for example: If someone picks Mordekaiser you have two options on how to think. A) How do i beat mordekaiser in lane?
B) Who do I want to play and is fun?
If A) and B) align then you are golden because you have fun and you have a chance of winning your lane.
A lot of people end up only picking B).

It's nice to see that I don't need to post here anymore as zalz takes care of everything =)

You already crushed Turkey's spirits by advocating Gunblade. He's been desperately looking for something else to champion.

He's being worse than you ever were. Yes, I said it. The last page is like...
zalz 0 - Southlight 24
ggnore.

Why does south get all the credit? It was more then just him telling zalz he was wrong

The only thing Southlight had going for him was the majority of people that instantly flocked to him for whatever reason.
Last i checked he broke down after i directed his post of infinite wisdom to the garbage bin. A lengthy post based on the notion of imaginary champions played by imaginary morons.
People trashed Eve, then she was the most broken champ in the game. She was on the bottom of every tier list whilst at that point she was allready the strongest champion in the game, allowing a single player to ride her to the top of the ELO ladder whilst people even on this forum were still saying she was just a pubstomper.
People in LoL are rather slow to catch on to new trends and changes, more content with recycling what the next guy said.
This Swain debate is hardly much different. Just people repeating one another about how great he is. Some months down the road people might catch on.

goddamn i didn't think you guys could do it, now there are at least five people in this thread that piss me off more than shikyo. shikyo has actually been pushed off my shitlist. congrats.
who is this zalz guy and why is he being such a tryhard? It's friggin LoL and hes theorycrafting this shit like bronze level sc2. Who cares if a champ sucks. As long as they fun its okay.

Balance to me means that you can counter pick. There are lanes where one champion seriously hard counters another. Teemo vs Jax for example. There are other situations where one champion is heavily favored in many matchups. Orianna says hi. But Ori still loses to Leblanc and Kass. She's also very 50/50 against Cass where player skill comes into play.
Mord is countered by a competent jungler.

Kindly direct my post to the trash bin then. And for the record, Southlight's post wasn't "directed to the trash bin" as you say, just becuase you refuse to accept what someone else is saying (especially when others are confirming what they are saying) doesn't mean it's trash. Since you can so easily deal with posts that contain "infinite wisdom" it should be trivial for you to dismiss the imaginary champions in my post no?

Hmm, balance to me means that even if you have a shit matchup you can still pull off miracles if you're a better player. And for the most part this is so. I'm not as big a fan of hardcounters because that leads to counters of counters of counters in draft mode and that gets kinda boring. As much as I dislike seeing him succeed it's one of the reasons why I admire people like HSGG, who take a hero and don't give a shit who he's against, because he'll "make it work."

Haha so much raging in this debate. I play at low elo ( 1300) and most swain I encounter are doing just fine. One of my IRL friends plays him quite often and while he often fails against AP, his swain does fine against bruisers. And he is having a lot of fun playing him.
Time for a new topic : MyM recruits ex-Wizard as they LoL lineup because " A 200.000+ viewer game cannot be ignored". Source : http://www.mymym.com/en/news/20208.html. I hope that with MyM behind them, these spanish guys will joins SK, MIll and Fnatic ( and ofc TL.EU) in the TOP EU teams.

Majority vote does not make champions top tier or Mordekaiser would be first pick/first ban in all tournaments.

Can't help but feel that MyM probably could have signed a better unsponsored team than Wizards...

And because you say a certain champion sucks doesn't make it true.

Swain as a solotop: great on blue team, less great on purple side. Blue side is harder to get ganked for swain and he can get blue buff at some point.
In either case, I don't see why it's so hard to grasp that the potency of a caster who does a lot of damage with so-so range and whose passive lets him replenish mana for more harass so that he doesn't run oom as fast.

no but seriously if you join tl net a mere 6 months ago, start playing lol for less than that, and then proceed to state that you're definitely better than the former literally #1 kassadin from beta (even if he sucks now) and proceed to tell him as such (and from eu no less) you should at least have a little bit of respect.

Because people can't play LoL before they join TL, this is fact
And because you say a certain champion sucks doesn't make it true.
By that logic you shouldn't exactly be jumping at Southlight either for he only approaches Swain from a different perspective.
