The fact that Marcou still has a job after WCG... is just shocking to me. I talked to tun of riot guys in LA during that tournament about the future of the game.. and .... it's just not meant to be imo, I don't think they care. They can force tournaments like this one since it has enough players... but... they all are a joke.

What was going on at WCG? Didn't really pay attention at the time.
I mean I don't see why you would fire Phreak. Most of the stuff happening is probably not really his fault but of course he's going to get shit on if he does the casting and sort of is the face of the company. (He also does spotlights and patch previews etc.)
If they really don't care, LoL is the exact some spot as WoW a few years ago. Game has a fucking HUGE community, a lot of people are willing to watch matches but the game wasn't build for E-sport and they developer doesn't really care as E-sport isn't making money. (To be fair, Blizzard never had a chance to begin with to make arena good because 90% of the playerbase are PvE players). But if they don't care I don't see why they would host a huge ass tournament. And I mean it's not like Riot has a huge unsolvable task, just get replays, observermode and hire someone who actually knows something about E-sport and doesnt make retarded decisions.

Why resignation of Phreak? To my knowledge he's not the reason Riot is making these retarded decisions. He's just not a very knowledgeable caster, but enough people find him entertaining.

I think Phreak did a fine job considering how much he has on his plate. He does suck at observing though, maybe they should get a dedicated observer like SC has.
