I'm just struggeling to keep myself in the lane, if i try to play aggressive and trade with those heroes I lose, if i try to play passive, they still harass me at my own tower and I lose.
And double AP is usually seen as trolling at 16-1700..unless you have like bltiz or alistar bot lane to do the tanking.
Guess the only real answer in quick jungle ganks?

If you're good at landing skillshots and combo-ing, Brand is pretty good at being a bully in lane and has good AoE for fights that happen in the jungle or around Baron.

Gangplank can easy, solo top Tryndamere also does well against both

Double ap pretty standard with amumu jungle zz. Seems like best choice would be to have some ranged AD top, and some strong double stun/tank bot lane like alistar poppy blitz alistar taric blitz taric alistar taric garen alistar sion.
Or tank mid and AP top.

man SK vs Gamed.de is so amusing with solo top warwick for wickd

One thing i don't get when watching EU games, since they love carrysupport bot so much why isn't soraka banned? I don't see any other support as good as letting carry sit in lane forever, everytime i watch EU matches the bottom lane with soraka wins against the bot lane with other support.
|
I honestly have no idea soraka is so much more powerful in teamfights than other supports except for maybe zilean. Janna and sona ults have their uses but have that burst of getting extra damage is also countered by soraka ult while soraka helps the team sustain better even with her ult down.
Only thing is that soraka isn't that great vs say a taric garen or taric+carry lanes because ALL she does has heal so when you have to cc someone away for a second she doesn't really have that. I've owned many a soraka+carry lane with agressive taric+carry because you stun and shatter their support and their ranged carry+your damage way outdoes the healing soraka does and you can repeat it every 10 seconds.

My thoughts on EU support botlanes:
Soraka > Taric/Janna > Everything else.
Soraka has that "I'm in lane forever, no matter what happens"-factor. You pretty much don't autowin any lane by killing people but you can stay there for ages without dieing to anything.
Soraka vs Taric all boils down to a) Can the Soraka side maintain brushcontrol properly? If you lose your own brush to Taric it's gonna be hell for you to come back. b) Can Soraka silence Taric when he moves out of his brush to stun in time? If you can do it, it's win. If you can't, your carry slowly dies.
It's similar to some matches mid like kassa vs malz aka "Who silences who first?" - If taric gets silenced ur carry gets some free shots at him and he has to waste mana with his crappy heal and retreat. If he doesn't get silenced before the stun hits ur carry gets dmg, soraka has to patch him up.
During lane janna is usually underwhelming compared to both imho, maybe I just haven't met a strong janna though. I feel the janna lane is always behind for the first few levels compared to taric and even to soraka. Then she falls behind soraka and gets even with taric later on.
HOWEVER: Soraka/Janna > Taric once laning is over. Also I see Soraka banned quite often around 1600 ELO EU.
PS: If someone picks like sona/kayle/nid/zilean in those botlanes its pretty much autowin for the other side. None of them keep up. Also some people on EU still suffer from kayle/nid = support down syndrome.

I feel like the whole support/carry strat is really vulnerable to burst and CC lanes. The whole support/carry bot strat is riding on a very fragile string that needs to get the farm to transition well out of laning phase, and can be abused soon, because it gives up a lot of early control.

It is, there's a reason why it was used on US a year ago and everyone stopped using it

I see MF picked like in every one of those games right now, even if there is no Ashe or Cait on either team. Is she that good (I always thought Ashe/Cait/Corki are better) or is it because Ashe/Cait are banned every game?

Did anyone actually refer himself 10 times and got the 975 RP reward? Is it possible, I'm playing with the idea to do it, but I have no idea if I can get away with it.
If you could tell me here or PM me, those who eventually did it, I'd be grateful for some info.

You can do it. But not really worth the time unless you can't buy RP in your country or something.

Soraka's silence is instant cast and has a good 50 range lead on Taric's stun. If your Soraka can't properly silence in time, something is wrong.

I thought part of the reason it started becoming popular was because of that whole discussion where Chauster/Doublelift's Blitz+Ali fought Saintvicious/Chaox's Taric+MF to a standstill, and so people started thinking that burst/CC lanes weren't as good against babysits as everyone thought?

Blitz + Ali is not a good enough lane combo. You've got to go deeper than that.
More bust, reliable burst like annie sion, maybe heimer, lux, malz, etc

So you'd say stuff like annie/sion/malz + blitz/ali/lux would do the trick? Aka reliable burst + someone who's cc heavy and not that farm dependant?

Sidenote: Apparently there was a massban vs flamers, at least on EU:
"SOFIABG: Marten The Blind has been banned for 274 years."
