I'm very curious about how much the new Stim Pack will cost. I'm not interested in buying it, I just want to know how much they think it's worth to people.
And if Kael'thas had a good skin I'd get one for him but Stormpunk is just so bad =/

I look at my heroes owned and I already own most of the heroes I like to play...

I still don't want to put real money on heroes, I only have 13 heroes to go, so a few months and I'm good. Oh, and Cho Gall but he's free.
That being said I'll buy Shando Illidan as I've been waiting for him to be discounted since last time it was and I missed him. Already have 1 skin for Murky, 1 for Tyrande (Master pink Tyrande rocks), 1 for Raynor, 1 for Zagara and 2 for Nova so I don't need anything else for now.
Maybe 1 mount for my smurf account ? Tired of the horse and the lizard thingy.

I am going to spend entirely too much on skins and mounts (mostly for my gf)....no need for buying heroes as I own all but 5 and currently have close to 40k gold anyway.

Looks like the 360-day stimpack is $60 (the standard price will be $120 after the sale), which is pretty respectable if you're interested in +exp/gold. I might get it since I already have all the heroes and I think I have all the skins I want.

I was a little disappointed with the 120 normal price tag. Because the normal price for the month is 10 so if you were to buy 12 months we get 120. So you're really not receiving any benefit for paying up front. You may as well just pay for your 10 stim pack each month to make sure you use it.
That said the 50 percent off everything is obviously welcome. though 60 is still steep.
I thought the full year stim would be doubly efficient. Both from the increase in efficiency one would expect paying all that up front, two from the Black Friday discount.

I'm not sure that it worth it unless you really want a bunch of master skins and new heroes and play a lot every day. You could buy 6 new heroes for $60 and will probably make enough gold from quests and games to get another hand full if you are playing regularly enough to warrant a stim pack. If you want heroes that have already been released, buying them now at 50% off is even better for the $60.

That said its a lot more fun earn with gold. ..i think thats why people like stim packs despite not being very cost efficient.

Sure, but you are still going to be earning other heroes with gold in addition to whatever you bought for the $60. Now if it increased quest gold by 150% then I would consider it.

The stimpack with a 37.5% increase is pretty close to the 50%. But its still only worth it if you
- like the XP for watever reason
- want gold for gold exclusive items (masterskin/ some mounts)
- play alot (9+ games a day; maybe less if you reach gold rewards you would not have reached without the bonus XP)

Wasn't going to spend any money on HotS, other than the two stimpacks I bought when I started out, but now I couldn;t resist. Bought the Pure Country ETC and Vampire Slayer Valla skins, because I think they're awesome. I wish Johanna and Kael'Thas had better skins though, they're my best and most played heroes.

Lot's of heroes have very mediocre alternative skins in fact. Ended buying Shan' do Illidan as planned, and Ranger Sylvanas (not planned).
Mecha Tassadar and Angelic Valla are highly considered but these are heroes I don't play much.
I wonder how much you can confuse people with a team of Tyrael + Angelic Valla + Betrayer Malfurion + Shan' do Illidan. The 5th can be abathur to really make things worse if you jump at Illidan thinking it was Malfurion.
