Most banned heroes by league: Bronze: Morales (15400) Li Ming (15000) Xul (5900) Silver: Li Ming (21100) Morales (15400) Illidan (9600) Gold: Li Ming (26200) Illidan (15000) Morales (14700) Platinum: Li Ming (27200) Illidan (18900) Morales (10100) Diamond: Li Ming (13500) Illidan (11500) Rehgar (5000) Master: Illidan (2000) Li Ming (1900) Xul (1000) The lower you go, the more people ban Morales, to the point where she's even more banned than Li Ming once you get to bronze league. I have seen Handlebars at rank 3 before and he is typically around 3900 as well. Pretty retarded to have a 2600 mmr player at rank 1 but a top 200 range player not rank 1 just because of a tilt session. | ||

It's not until Platinum that Illidan has a higher win rate than Gazlowe. I guess those players were just low level players. Actually, looking at the statistics more, turns out that those low level games skew the statistic so much that, if you use global instead of league specific stats, Gazlowe has a slightly higher win rate than Illidan. People probably just look at the global win rates blindly and assume that just because someone is higher up on the global stats he's better, when it's just the lower leagues being awful. | ||

To be fair, the fact that he was in a game with me (rank 17) probably means his MMR was low, but still, good lord, I cannot fathom it. I was shocked because they were railing on the dude from the start pretty hard (he admitted he panic picked it, but its not like it was in lieu of a support or warrior.) Also it surprises me that Gazlowe actually has a solid win rate, I've been curbstomping Gazlowe players today (low MMR though) I still can't fathom people thinking someone like, say, Rexxar is a better hero than Illidan. | ||

I think a huge reason there are so many 1 sided matches in the average to low mmr range is simply that sometimes teams just completely counter themselves but genuinely have no idea that's what happened. This is what I notice from looking at the match history of some of my brothers matches. | ||
