Blizzard and afreecaTV have come together to bring to you the 2015 Heroes Big League, featuring some of the top afreecaTV broadcasters and a $30,000 prize pool!
32 broadcasters were chosen through a vote by afreecaTV users to compete in the HBL. These 32 broadcasters then built a team out of their fans to compete everyday for the next 2 weeks.

Super cool, given that 90% of the potential player base can't even play the game. Calling a game "competitive" in closed beta is a completely ridiculous notion.
With that being said, I'm not particularly against throwing money at beta key holders. It's just not really "competitive"...

You can get the game if you buy a founder's pack. If you wish to be competitive spending that money might not be such a weird thing.

Hm...so um last night no one was streaming the HBL league on TL, is TL going to add support for Afreeca.TV so streamers on Afreeca.TV can get more viewers, and also stream these Events on TL?
EDIT : I was told by R1CH that Afreeca.TV needs an API in order to be added on TL , I hope they get one soon because this is a little ridiculous trying to stream on Afreeca.TV lol
EDIT 2 : So even though it says AfreecaTV this is Afreeca.com the Korean Afreeca, this is going to get really confusing.

Yeah, I was in shock too. There was a spider specced Nazeebo too in his team. But if I'm not mistaken, these players are not pros. They are just followers/fans of afreeca casters. And that is really strange to see the largest price pool ever being given to "amateurs". I hope to see the great teams that are devoted to the game for months to get similar price pools soon.

That's a ton of money going to casters + their viewers. This is a major marketing event.

Draft mode is coming in the next round.

Please Afreeca TV get an API so the HBL Event on TL can be streamed. Why is it even possible that TL has an event for HBL if it cannot be streamed on the streaming platform that it is designated for? A restream on twitch would defeat the purpose!
Explanation of what an API is from the fabled Wizard himself...
" The API lets our site query things like whether a stream is online, viewer count, title, etc. We need that to be able to list the stream only when it's online for example. " - R1CH

Hello can I ask about the Afreeca link? When I go to the stream it says it is a private broadcast and requires a password. Is it meant to be like that? What do I need to do in order to watch?
