….. What the fuck is with everyone saying stuff like “has to be a troll” are you referring to the game itself or the actual choice of the name? If you’re referring to the game this was originally announced some 2 years ago, and as for the name, it’s just that… a name, a name everyone will get used to in a weeks time (or maybe they’ll change it again).
I do roll my eyes when people use the phrase “toxic community”, a phrase that’s been so over used it’s lost any sense of severity the same way “patch zerg” did. But seriously about 70% of the posts in this thread are just warmed up dog shit. It looks like a lot of people are reading the derogatory 4 word posts and just retyping them work for word to try and be popular.
As for me personally, I don't know what to think of it, it may be a MOBA game I'm actually willing to try, but I doubt it (gave DOTA2 a try, didn't care for it, can't imagine how this'll be drastically different). I'm just happy to see Carbot getting more commission work from Blizzard.

What about Champions of the Storm? Not every blizzard major character is a hero.

That is SUCH a good name, Heroes of the Storm, a blizzard is a storm, so they are the heroes of blizzard. You get it? see I get it!
I can almost guarantee that this will be the moba I will finally enjoy. LoL is like watching kids cartoons, Dota is so dark and grim I find it depressing to play but Blizzard will get it right, I just know it!
The only issue I have is that for the next couple of years Blizzard will have two Hots games.
Also that video was SICK, amazing as always from carbot.

If it's dota-based game, why do Blizzard expect anything after the first two months? LoL and Dota2 will crush this if it's a Blizzard map.

Between the next Wow expansion, Legacy of the void and D3 Reaper of Souls, i am sure that they got plenty of work. And it will be amazing all of it.

dat is gonna be so confusing and annoying if they dont change the name AGAIN T_T
I just hope its gonna be a fast paced MOBA like arcade map City of Tempest and no such boring LOL DOTA stuff

The thing is that when Heroes of the Storm (HotS) will come out there will be already Legacy of the Void (LotV), so there won't be two HotS at a time

Yes exactly. Though I don't feel this is limited to this thread at all. I thought reddit was supposed to be worse than this, but at least there the bad posts gets down voted into oblivion. So I guess people migrated here to feel like their stupidly negative comments could be heard.

when this title hits the Street no one will refer do competitive SC2 as "hots" cause "lotv" will be there...so why all the comments about "omg, there will be two different games with the same short!"?.......and no, its no joke. And yes, it could be super-mega awesome cause u know..blizzard is quite good at making games besides all gold-league whining about balance here......
