I got on the elevator by myself on floor 14. I don’t know what it is about elevators, but they always seem to bring out the awkwardness in people. On floor 12, two attractive women got on the elevator. They looked happy. Then, on floor 9, some middle aged guy walks in. He had a buzz cut a la American History X and an obvious bum chin. A real sleezebag.
One of the girls broke the silence. “I got arrested the other day.”
I asked why, sporting a coy smile. “Because I had two guns and a six pack!”
She motioned to her stomach and flexed her biceps. I courtesy laughed. Her smile faded when she heard a throaty Clint Eastwood-like voice.
His breathe reeked of Whiskey. “I got arrested too.”
Me and the girls laughed nervously. I tried to ask why, but nothing came out except a high pitched crackle. I was scared.
“For triple homicide.”
The girls got off at the next stop.
The rest of the ride down he was looking me up and down, licking his chapped lips.

Okay, I've been told to just bump this thread. I feel this didn't get enough attention in blogs, so I'm going to try it in general. So here it is!
