Hey guys !
As far as I know this page is visited by users from all around the world. I had the idea that maybe this could be a real chance to help my other hobby
I collect license plates from vehicles (cars&bikes) and thought this could be my chance to meet people that have any relations or jobs that deal with cars or car registration divisions around the world (where plates are used ) or maybe someone has old license plates around at home that he doesnt need anymore. I try to hang my house full of plates from every place in the world.
If anybody has any kind of old plates he doesnt need anymore or know where to find some that would be really great!!! I also of course would pay for shipping and a tip for your help if needed ...
I am very excited about any plates thanks a lot and regards!

u noe wat u should do? take the plates and instead of nailing/screwing them onto the walls attach them to clear plastic drape u noe like those clear plastic things that r bendable and stuff (seen it used as slipper hanger?) anyways yeah attach them to soemthing like that so that when u move all u have to do is roll up ur plastic drape thingy and then roll them bak out after u arrive at ur new place or w.e

I'd offer you my plate (Ontario - Canada) but it looks nothing like the ones in your collection and it's a 1998 plate.

I'm going to go on about a story related to license plates. One night, my entire family and I are awakened by the blaring siren of the fire alarm. As we go to discover where the source is, we notice a monstrous amount of water pouring out of our ceiling. We had a water pipe burst, and it destroyed the material in the ceiling. Over the course of the next few days, we notice that the water has seeped down into the downstairs ceiling and has done similar damage. Not too long later, we notice there is water behind the tiles of a bathroom downstairs. Immediately, we make an initiative to remove the wall before massive amounts of mold start to grow. As we are doing this, we use a sledgehammer, and break open the tile wall. We look inside the wall cavity and low and behold, we see a conspicuous yellow envelope. We open it up, and we find a pair of Michigan license plates. We live in Maryland, mind you. Still until today, we have not figured out to whom they belong to, or why there were in the wall.

wow what happens when you move to another house? do you take the whole wall with you or what?
|
I wouldn't worry about the walls holding up or moving to another house. I would worry about bringing a lady friend back to the house.
|
Wow, nice man... I'll try and see if I have any laying around.

OSL plate? badass. If you come to sweden you can steal my neighbours plate, its TSL.
Edit: I fail so much at forum codes.

If I had this kind of collection I would go insane unless I knew where each of these was from. So, for your information: The blue tag on the right side fifth from bottom (湘L 0332) is from Mao ZeDong's home province of 湖南 HuNan. Chinese licence plates all feature one character and then numbers. The character denotes which province or region the tag comes from.
