Pirating and drugs. Neither should be illegal. There just isn't any convincing justification for keeping me from buying and using drugs and there isn't any convincing justification to force me to pay for things I don't want to pay for.

seems like the majority of crimes here are victimless crimes. smoking, drinking, pirate/dling, traffic infractions...i have always thought laws against this kind of stuff are arbitrary. the legal history behind some of it is interesting also. though i am far from a legal expert, i bet tl has one lurking somewhere. anyway, the freedom to get away with this kind of criminal activity, while not actually hurting anyone, except maybe yourself, is part of what makes liberal (not as in the american political party, but as in free society) countries/societies great.i hope this is the beginning of a great discussion, because just gloating about law breaking is sad. i have broken many laws and there have been times when i thought, ' if a cop knocked on my door i'd have something to worry about'. believe it or not, many many people have nothing to fear from fbi, cia, or police. why so many rule breakers? are we safe because we have relative anonymity here? are we mostly young men, prone to reckless behavior?

In my time I have done a number of illegal things now that I think of it, I'm guilty of underage drinking, buying, dealing and consuming a number of controlled substances, a bit of shoplifting, many random acts of vandalism when I was a teenager, downloading music, films etc.

I'm downloading lots of stuff all the time. Like a couple GBs per week. No big deal I guess. I don't pick fights, I don't steal (apart from the music/film industry), and I can't park illegally because I don't own a car. So there.

I've done plenty of illegal things. From downloading, pot, underage drinking, driving with out a license, graffiti, sold pot and other drugs. So yea that's just a few.
