Copyright infringement is only a criminal offense in the US if you profit off it, distribute pre-release works (e.g., cam recordings of a movie in theaters), or exceed a retail value of $1000 in a 180 day period. Of course, any unauthorized downloading is "illegal" because you're breaking the civil statutes. | ||

I've sold pot in the past I still smoke pot fairly often I occasionally take ecstasy I've bought alcohol for minors I've done underage drinking I've had sex with minors while 18+ I've had sex with minors while a minor myself I've downloaded many TB of music, games, software, and videos (and ram lulz) I've stolen small stuff from stores (like magic cards) I've physically threatened to kill someone (I wasn't really going to, but I was pissed) I don't mention my poker winnings as income on my tax returns I've lied to employers about my history (either through omission or addition) Pretty much every day I do at least one thing illegally. I don't feel bad about them, even though I honestly believe that some of what I do is clearly morally wrong. The dishonesty parts mostly... like the stealing of various forms. | ||
