Thanks for replying.. A lot of good suggestion. I will pick one from the list. Although I'm some what leaning toward Captain Adama, I love the dramatic lighting and it looks like a challenging piece, with pretty complex tone and shadow variation on the face. Colbert and John Stewart both has been on my to draw list for a while as well.

Your control of shading is incredibly good. I don't know what you're doing in terms of academics or if you're already an art student or what but you should definitely do something with this skill.
I notice at the beggining you trace the picture precise boundaries and then draw based on it. Thats more amazing to me than anything, Do you measure it with something or do you just guess?
amazing portrait! I really like it. You should send her or her agent this video, might get you some Hollywood works just a small suggestion, can you keep the final painting for a bit longer? in this one it disappears too quickly imo.
