Look, you're obviously apprehensive/uneasy about the procedure. "Are we suppose to be happy about this accomplishment? Seriously, science has a fucking limit..." "I'm not worried about this, I just think it's an area that Science should not go' ok... To quote some of the definitions provided by your link: having or characterized by worry; concerned; anxious. a worried condition or feeling; uneasiness or anxiety. To feel uneasy or concerned about something; be troubled. Arguing about a definition, a new low ![]()

think about it.. stuff u imagine (most of hte time with imagery) can be extrapolated out of u and then there the web which would be the msot awesome place to spread it... haha marines and special ops now have to go through even more extra training so this stuff can't work on them during interrogation? ridiculous! though... it means we can use em too... but~ that means first getting it right? I mean come on.. plenty of ppl have faked these kinds of stuff u guys realize just how fukin complex the brain is? for this to work first off u would have to penetrate the head of the said person (we are no where near being able to read brain waves for stuff other than oh he's sleeping or oh he's awake or oh he's dead...). Then some how u would need extremely fine wires that can connect to individual nerve axons w/o damaging them (or some kind of electric potential detector that can wrap around each nerves...) and that's the ez part HOW THE FUK R U GONNA TRANSLATE IT?! you wouldn't even know if the nerves u got are right which means u can't try and guess that certain patterns mean blah... also test subject may be thinking of something else, etc. and if all that was somehow done right... then there would be no fuzziness.. rather there should be no fuzziness, because the computer translating the nerve activities will make it so that it's as crisp as possible...

There's still a few kinks to be worked out. Sometimes the dead person comes back to life as a zombie and spends eternity feasting on the brains of the living.

It doesnt make you look like a pussy, at least until you started going batshit insane over that fact EDIT: oh someone already said w/e i just said. And for the record, I feel a little anxious too, this opens doors to implanting stuff into the brain too right? ( i mean like ideas and images and whatnot), and we're going to have a huge turnover in privacy rights if this becomes commercial for investigators to use (i hope stuff like this won't fall into the hands of ordinary citizens)

Technology/Science seems to have hit a wall in terms of a revolutionary/paradigm shift for some time now (that I know of). Interested in seeing where this will lead.
