friend who is big fan of ghost whisper convinced me to draw this
I don't know what happened, i wanted to draw Dexter... I was too agreeable
drunken mediation while drawing is good for the soul
if you like my videos plz rate and comment on youtube!
Higher quality HERE. There is a fairly big difference.
edit: for those who are curious... Drunk drawing is not as easy as drawing while high like in my previous thread. Drunk makes you really lazy, moving the pencils on paper seemed fun at first but a lot of times i just want to just sit there and chill instead of focus and moving the pencil. It also isn't as fascinating as drawing when high. In terms of mechanics and ratio and tone control it doesn't really affect things that much.

That was pretty crazy. it looks so life like. I have a hard time drawing stick figures myself lol. I always find it odd how artists start a drawing off too. Like if someone ever made me try to draw someone I'd draw the outline of there head then work from there, but artists always seem to start off on nothing to give them a frame work or outline, but the drawing seems to come out great anyway.

I've been meaning to ask you.. do you work for someone or just a hobby drawing? I can't imagine other people have a portfolio of youtube drawings like this. Must be ezpz to get a job.
Your amazing dude. How do you mentally plan a picture out? Can you imagine what your picture will look like on a blank piece of paper before your start?

Seriously it takes me at least 10 seconds to properly insert my keys in the keyhole when Im drunk, this is incredible.
Not drunk as in 10 shots of vodka or anything. but a good 6-8 beers i would say. I was definitely feeling something.

Just a hobby that i started not long ago. I do some commission work for people here and there but overall it's mostly for fun. Which is not to say i don't love commissions, it would be a awesome if i can get a substantial income out of this. So tell all your friends Infact, i can give people referral fees. 10% of w/e i charge your frd i give to you.

Ur amazing...only i don't really see the point in drawing from a picture, you might as well look at the pic itself. How hard is it to draw people without reference?

cool, thanks for your candid opinion. but my art is never really like the reference picture I use, often the lighting is very different, and many parts and details is completely different. And also I like to think of art as partly making something that people think is hard look smooth and easy. When I watch Jaedong's rep and see his multitasking, his macro and micro, which he makes it look so easy but i can never do, that is art to me. Also don't think of my art as just a final result of the drawing, I would like to think the whole process (the time lapse video) as part of it. Not to say that I don't like to draw from real life, cuz if you can get Jessica Alba, Jack Bauer, kung fu panda to sit in front of me for 3 hours, pm me asap.
regarding how hard it is to draw ppl without reference.. to draw a specific person with out any reference? extremely hard! even a caricature drawing usually needs some kind of reference.
