Massive potential conflicts of interest here. Surely the ‘you didn’t care about his politics before’ crowd have to concede that this is a pretty legitimate area of concern now right?
I’ll reserve judgement, maybe he does some good governance. Maybe he doesn’t put in the energy and ultimately doesn’t leverage this position all that much. Maybe it’s an absolute clusterfuck of bad policies, mixed with ones that directly benefit Musk
I would put my money on some outcomes being more likely than others, put it that way.

Yeah seriously. The fact that his Diablo 4 account really is ranked super high means either he's having his account boosted / having people play for him... or he really doesn't work nearly as much as everyone thought. Didn't he brag about working 20 hours per day or something? Maybe half of that "work" was playing video games.
Besides gaming 2000 hours a week, Elon Musk favorite pastime is spreading dangerous right-wing misinformation on Twitter. This is a good breakdown of the UK protests and how Elon had a hand in spreading hatred, fear and propaganda.

It's also a good example of how right-wingers incite violence and then play victim when they face serious backlash for their actions.

The idea that Elon Musk has anything but time to spare is so silly, like most billionaires he doesnt do shit
What gets me most about this is it'd be lowkey cringe from one of my actual gamer friends - Just a normie being like "I'm 8th in the world records for fastest time beating solitaire" in our friend discord and being like "That's actually kinda sick, dude" only to realize that he's written a blog about it, talked about it for 20 mins in a podcast he was on recently, and is making himself a commemorative tshirt.
It'd be one thing if Elon only mentioned it once offhand and 'media' repeated it 50x, but I legitimately only know about it from Joe Rogan and Lex Freidman, where he spent a decent amount of time talking about it.
Does geoguessr have a finite amount of spawn locations and the best players have just memorized all the spawn locations? I just don't see how someone can get a random dirt road and then ping some city in Ecuador and be within a few kilometers unless they are going off memory of getting that location before.
