baal has been around TL longer than I have, and has posted numerous pictures of himself in that suit with that car he has also talked at length about his driving career before, and he's not at all the sort of guy who's going to post a video that isn't actually him | ||

But again, the important thing is that you can never be sure there's not someone even STUPIDER than you out there. Even if you are able to drive just fine while drunk (even though that's scientifically impossible), then if some other fucker swerves at you because they're drunk and a shitty driver, you won't be able to respond in time. Even sober... if you're blowing through a red light very fast, who knows if some other shithead is out there and forgot to put the lights on on his black car and you can't see him. Sure maybe he's more of an idiot than you but both of you are still dead. Don't take my word for it, but don't just be arrogant and ignore what EVERYONE is saying either. Do some research and figure it out for yourself. I think that speed racer clip said it best, haha. Btw, I'm quite proud of the TL community for generally knowing how stupid drunk driving is. GG. | ||

I've been threatened to life with a knife once, one guy thought he'd have fun picking on me but I was in that "I don't take crap from anyone" phase and I fought back and kept calling him stuff back. He could not really handle getting fought back at by a guy 2 years younger than him, so two of his friends and himself grabbed me on the way home from school and dragged me into the forest. The guy pulls up a knife saying he'd kill me and kinda like "you don't dare to fight back now huh?" His two friends got scared as fuck though, I don't think they knew that he had a knife on him, so they talked him out of it pretty quick. I've never been so scared though. I could've reported it I guess, but the sick thing is that he never ever talked to me again after that, and as long as he let me be I was happy about it. I was fucking frustrated afterwards, thinking what fucking coward gets 2 friends and a knife against someone who refuses to take shit and fights back. | ||

I've seldomly had any near-death experience, excluding three cases: 1) My friend drove a car on a highway. Speed is above 100 kmph, his mom calls. Starts asking stupid questions, my friend tells her that he's driving and he can't talk at the moment. She doesn't give up, he gets angry, starts yelling at her, at the same time not noticing that he has his foot at the gas pedal. As a result, we enter a turn at about 120 kmph without gas dropped. Cool experience. She never ever called him again when he was driving. 2) Another driving accident. I was siiting next to the driver, he made a left turn on a crossroad. Bullet-time: I see a truck approaching from my right right into me. We barely evaded collision. 3) Well, the third one was not really that I've faced death, but I was close. We were building a structure out of metallic tubes to restore the facade of a monastery building. The point of the structure was to reach the higher floors from outside of the building. So, we handle one of the tubes so that it is parallel to the ground on the level of about 4'th floor. I did the screwing work and I was absolutely certain I had it fixed. Then, I walked on the other tube like 1 meter lower than that I've installed and used the newer one as handle: ------------- - my arms are here ------------- - I walk here I safely reach the other side of the structure. 5 seconds after the upper tube falls from the height of like 15 meters. | ||

I've been struck by high voltage, almost froze to death, almost drowned, almost cut my belly open with sharp glass, been beaten badly, survived tuberculosis (they diagnosed it by accident, otherwise I wouldn't even know I was carrying it), almost died from drinking, been hit by the car, got gun pointed at me, stuff like that. Didn't change my life much, I guess that when you grow older you start to notice such things (when most of this things happened to me I didn't give it any thought and considered them to be nothing extraordinary) and realise how fragile you are and how lucky you were in the past sometimes. I'm not a religious guy and none of the above accidents has changed it in the slightest way. | ||

I have pics of the aftermath if u are interested ... also a video of where i pass those 2 crashed cars | ||
