In Turkey, we're using the slowest and the most expensive internet in the entire universe as you can see :/

And the best part is, there is no "unlimited internet" in Turkey. Every kind of internet connection got max. 50GB download limit per month.

Best offer is "8Mbit Download / 1Mbit Upload = 65$ with 50GB download limit"

Most of you guys are fairly lucky in regards to internet connection costs. Here in South Africa an average type of connection is too expensive for the majority of citizens. However, many of us privileged ones do what we can to pay for the best possible connections at the most reasonable of prices. At present my internet is rather slow because it is near the end of the month and I have gone way over my cap limit, thus my ISP is throttling me. Fortunately they never cut my line until the next month. Usually though I receive a speed of around 6mb/s download with a 8mb/s upload. Paying to increase the cap limit is far beyond my dad's comprehension, so I come by with what I have each month.

EDIT - I'll post an old Speedtest result, taken more than a month ago just to give you guys an idea. My speed fluctuates btw, so it is not always exactly what I have stated above.

Atm Ive got 100 mbit up and 100 mbit down for 139 SEK (14,84 EUR, 19,52 USD). Ive ordered 1 gbit/s which I´ll get during the summer for 399 SEK per month (42,59 EUR, 56,03 USD) No download cap

Last time I checked at home I had 0.5mbit download and 0.04mbit upload, with an average latency of about 250 - 300. (Edit: And for this we pay more than 50$ per month) Apparently when we were promised that everyone would get internet they thought wireless with bad signal was enough. I'll be getting 100/10mbit soon though, since a lot of people where I live decided to pull together to get proper internet. It'll cost around 1600$ (digging, cables, connecting fees and whatnot) and then an additional ~50$/month. Totally worth every penny.

Using the internet at my school. Pretty decent, but I have a 10gb limit per week so that kind of sucks. I can't download anything too big or watch television online. Hope they increase the cap next year. It used to be 4 gb cap.

Calgary, Alberta. 400gb monthly limit but i've never actually been charged for going over (and I have a premium usenet account that I use alot along with a 4tb hard drive + various other 1tb drives).
