Russia has been heavily attacking the Donetsk front for weeks, so this could be a sign of Ukraine's defenses breaking. We'll probably know soon enough. Ukraine's own advance continues at a pace comparable to Russia's. These are minor changes only when compared to the changes over the last month, otherwise this is very significant. My first thought is that Russia still cannot be underestimated. Even the smallest sign of weakness must be addressed. ![]() It seems the gains is concentered in the area of Bakhmut and even the gains seem to be unverified. But they are doing random artillery attacks, then human and armor wave attacks.

https://t.me/boris_rozhin/66382 But the overal damage to the bridge suggests some secondary explosion as well, since there were two sections of the bridge that were destroyed (video of the consequences). https://t.me/boris_rozhin/66385 Estimates on repair of the road section of the bridge are one-two months. For the rail section (the most important for military supplies) - currently unknown.

Would have to be a missile (too big for what Ukraine reportedly has) or a special forces operation which blew up the bridge from underneath. Bridge wasn't blown from underneath, since 1) Pillars of the bridge are intact, it's bridge spans that were disjointed and fell into the water 2) Explosion on the road bridge damaged the train that was on the rail bridge. If explosion did happen underneath the road bridge, the bridge spans itself would have bear the damage. 3) The bridge itself is under constant surveillance and you can't just put few tons of TNT below it. 4) There is literally a video of exploding truck that I've posted. There is a video of the truck in question being inspected. https://t.me/meduzalive/70853 Seems that explosion was caused using by some exploding material of civilian use (since inspection didn't have any questions to the cargo), maybe ammonium nitrate, since it's just a fertilizer, so there are tons of it going around on regular basis, but it's highly volatile, especially in closed space, like container or building (see the Beirut explosion to see what kind of damage it may cause). Our Ministry of Transportation reports that rail movement will be reopened by 20:00 today. So it seems that the rail bridge didn't suffer too severe damage (though there are two rail lines, so they may have opened only one, which wasn't damaged by the fire from the fuel train). https://t.me/readovkanews/43592
