They need to genocide covertly so that no one (i.e. everyone) can understand what they are actually doing.
It's so easy to paint everything black and white"
This looks sarcastic so I'm curious why this isn't true?

Reuters - Top UN court says Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories is illegal In summary: the court found Israel's activities in the West Bank and East Jerusalem constitute an illegal occupation. The court stated that Israel was obligated to pay reparations and immediately remove all settlements in occupied territory. No country is to aid the settlement or recognize it as legal. "Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, and the regime associated with them, have been established and are being maintained in violation of international law," President Nawaf Salam said, reading the findings of a 15-judge panel. The court said Israel's obligations include paying restitution for harm and "the evacuation of all settlers from existing settlements". . . . The ICJ opinion also found that the U.N. Security Council, the General Assembly and all states have an obligation not to recognise the occupation as legal nor "render aid or assistance" toward maintaining Israel's presence in the occupied territories.

I understand they are owned by Iran with leadership who probably doesn't give a shit about regular people but it's still an insane decision.

They’re trying to get into an existential struggle with a nuclear power that is fully prepared to defend itself with a preemptive nuclear strike if it judges the need to outweigh the fallout. When Britain and the US shot down Iranian missiles launched at Israel they weren’t defending Israel, they were defending Iran. Israel is fully capable of defending itself if backed into a corner.

Teddy Roosevelt carrier group is not going into the red sea. Basically saying Yemen (Iran) has control over the area. I think the US would be quite happy if Israel went into Yemen or started actively striking them more heavily. Especially if they are willing to take the PR hit for hitting important civilian targets. Probably happy enough to ignore Palestine even more actively, same would be true for most of Europe. The shipping there is more important than the millions of Palestinians for Europe, Egypt etc. Not seeing anything pointing to lower insurance rates in the Suez Canal route. Spiking global shipping heavily while cutting Egypt income. If that is true long term then we might see Egypt doing things behind the scenes to strike at Yemen while supporting them publicly.

If they really piss them off it's not going to be on the same level.

If they really piss them off it's not going to be on the same level. Really? I haven't seen Saudi Arabia say peep about Israel/Gaza. In fact, anecdotally, my mother-in-law did Hadj this year, and a woman in her group prayed for peace in Gaza and for the palestinians, and was in no uncertain terms told to stfu and that the mosque was no place for politics. And the US "trying to get Israel to ease up on Gaza" is laughable.

I'd expect that this pressure will only increase as the US elections near. But even if Israel gives way, it still doesn't mean that any peace will survive long past the poll closing time.
