Republicans really should be slam dunk with Latino votes, but they're so bad at messaging. Latinos are overwhelmingly religious, socially conservative, family-oriented, lean GOP economically, etc., but they're just so antagonistic to them it always made no sense to me. It's the biggest bloc of minority voters that the GOP can absolutely improve on with the right messaging. This has long baffled me too. It’s not so confusing why a group of brown Spanish speakers aren’t welcome in a party that agrees with them on every main issue.

A little early to say anything. Big differences across the board on the county level in FL makes it hard to gauge, whereas county differences in other states look more promising for Biden.

If Trump wins PA and FL, then we have an actual race on our hands.

83% of Broward in, Biden 66.3%, Trump 33% 2016 66.5% Clinton / 31.4% Trump Trump should carry based on panhandle

the fastest reports I've found are at decision desk hq.
And God bless the Cubans if Trump wins Florida.

First Texas votes are in on NYT.
5 votes total so far.

Biden has flipped 3 counties that went to Trump last time, Duval, Pinellas and Seminole. Gotta see, gotta see. Keep waiting. Those Broward and Palm Beach votes really gonna be important to see

And God bless the Cubans if Trump wins Florida. Trump’s last ditch effort to convince them that Biden was secretly working for zombie Castro must have worked. The question is, does Trump know Castro is dead and just not care?

Virginia called for Biden.
West Virginia Called for Trump.

So far turnout appears much higher no?

Almost to 70% reported in Florida. Biden's lead has held steady around 50.5%.
Don't know if that'll be enough cushion to withstand the Panhandle votes.

I actually care more about the senate race than the presidential atm, but slow reporting on that. Suburban Cook County is open another hour due to relocation of polling places. I voted (took 5 minutes) and there was no one there. Literally all workers when I walked in.

I hate to keep doing, but it's hard to post sources on my phone in what is essentially a LR thread... but what I read is Trump's Florida coalition is going to look more like DeSantis 2018 than Trump 2016.
we shall see

FL's heavy elderly population may make their mail in ballots not as democratic leaning as other states. We just don't know how turnout is going to breakdown there.
It's looking like a nailbiter in FL, as expected (50.4% Biden vs 48.7% Trump with 76% on Politico now)
