Source in french but tldr : France prepares itself for an "Italy Scenario", schools will be closed on monday and people unable to work from home will be taken care by the government. Testing will now be reserved for sick people at risk/hospital staff. Unless it's an emergency, you're not supposed to go to your doctor/hospital if you're showing symptoms. | ||

This morning we were initially instructed to work from home tomorrow, that has since escalated to preparation for full teams to be working remotely for the next 2 weeks if not longer. I can't believe how quickly this has ramped up in the last 24 hours | ||

I just know the death rate is higher than the flu but I don't feel like I actually know what I'm talking about. Anyone have a good summary of Corona vs Flu? | ||

For youngish western Europeans this is starting to become the biggest event in our lifetimes and three weeks ago nobody gave a shit except making bad jokes about China.
