I've read your posts, for someone who talks about comedy a lot you are really having a hard time differentiating between comedy and unhinged rants.
Kind of how you have a hard time gauging how stupid Trump or someone like Matt Walsh or Candance Owens are.
You can't see or understand how others see you, because, to quote another great comedic genius, "stupid is as stupid does", plus, you know, the above mentioned narcissism.

Democrats on pace to do it for 6 seats in states that Trump won by double digits. Yeah and 2010 was 6 seats total. 2014 was GOP +9 as the 2008 wave riders lost. Interesting to see how 2032 turns out. I wonder if we are still going to hear about how unfair the senate is. Kidding, I know we will lol Almost like who wins doesn’t change math. First to the pole and gerrymandering are also still awful. The dark money in politics is still horrendous and so on. You have to realize all us non Americans and a few of you guys as well don’t treat politics as team sports where all we care about is our side winning. I told you why I wanted my side to win. Not for team sport reasons, you just need to accept that so when a future election makes you sad it's less catastrophic. I expect to lose about half the time. It would be better if more people could think like that. I’ve been thinking how to respond to this for a bit now and I have too much to say for one post. But I’ll start with an apology because I was meaner than I needed to be out of my frustration that I thought you had ranked your conservative values over your party loyalty and then when it became clear to me that it was the other way around I got extra frustrated because populism winning is awful for everyone, including the people voting for their guy.
A couple of things, you talk about fear of the Dems raising taxes, but you are aware that they are campaigning on taking away the massive taxes that Trump put in on everyone, the tariffs. You can’t keep pretending your party is the fiscally responsible one, when reality shows MAGA spends and spends and spends, for very little or negative returns.
But more so let’s get into Iran because you brought it up, so it must matter to you and you seem to be against every analysis I’ve read or watched, including from conservatives. How is it worth it? What in your mind has been accomplished or needs to be with his next moves? And what is your version of finishing it off?
You see I’m about as hawkish on Iran as you can be. I believe they are the big problem in the Middle East. But I can’t imagine a worse operation than what this administration did. Trump promised to protect the protestors and then let’s 50-100k get slaughtered only to attack a month later? He was surprised when Iran did exactly what they said they would do, and every military analyst for the last number of decades said they would do. He didn’t have the correct or enough assets in the area to do the operation properly. He is supporting Irans greatest ally, well tying the hands of a country that is fighting them. He had the opportunity to get massive r and d and support against drones from a country that has been defending against Irans exact weapons for years and didn’t take it. When Russia provided the arms, tech and importantly the intel for Iran to hit US bases and assets he bought a whole bunch of their diesel and offered to remove sanctions?!? He could give Ukraine just starshield, which would make the US money and hurt Irans life line, but instead cozy’s up to them because he thinks he and his buddies can make personal wealth off their resources.
So please, take a stand and say what you actually mean not some vague statements. So when Trump doesn’t deliver you can’t pivot to whatever nonsense they are currently spinning and claim it was what you wanted all along.

I mean it is going to be interesting to see how these super red state dems interpret what happened. It's not like South Carolinians are suddenly for Medicare for all. But I've said since the 2016 election dems could have gotten so much from him if they didn't say he was the next Hitler. That’s always been true. But most presidents don't recalibrate after mid term beat downs. These dems ran to the right of the national party on things like energy and immigration. I guess they could become Doug Jones and just vote party line and lose in 6 years. But somehow I don't think most want that. How will the Andrews's of SC do in fights vs the AES's of the senate and house. Remains to be seen

That’d be a catastrophic defeat for US global hegemony. Characterizing it as “stopping” implies that the US has taken a forward position previously but is now no longer contesting it. The US is now fighting to try to win back what it had before, stopping is withdrawing, it is conceding, it is surrendering. But even if we assume that’s doable there’s also the unresolved nuclear issue. Nuclear deals with Iran previously rested on the shaky belief that the US didn’t really want to attack Iran and therefore Iran didn’t really need a nuclear deterrent. Both sides heading towards normalization paid for itself because you could pay Iran to not get a nuke with all the trade they got for not seeking a nuke. The default is now that Iran needs a nuclear deterrent and everyone can see why. I don’t want them to have one but it’d be crazy to argue that they don’t need one after a superpower attempted a decapitation strike on them. That defeat already happened half a year ago. US hegemony is already dead. The allies upon which that hegemony was founded are actively looking elsewhere. Nothing the US can do stops the entire world from already knowing that nukes are the only protection that exists. Christ even the allies of US hegemony have renewed their desire for nukes to protect themselves from America. Everything bad that happens when the US surrenders to Iran has already happened and can already not realistically be stopped. The Obama apology tour worked the first time to smooth over Bush faults. After Trump one and two that ship was sailed. We will resume being friends with America because it is economically profitable but no one will trust you again for decades. I don’t really disagree with your conclusion. My point was that the framing of “just stop and go home” undersells the magnitude of what that means. Stopping sounds like a tie, an end on current lines. Whereas the kind of going home being discussed is the kind that Germany did in 1918. And therein lies the problem. Germany’s plan for if France wasn’t defeated in 1914 was to lose the war. Before it started they identified that they could not defeat the Entente in a protracted war, the plan was to take Paris, then focus on Russia, and the backup plan if that failed was to lose. It’s all well and good to say “but the defeat has already happened” and some Germans were probably saying that in 1914 but that did nothing to prevent another 4 years and millions of dead young men. People don’t stop wars just because it’s over.

Then run in 2028 on passing it.
It's far from some radical left proposal, and while it is a bit reformist (in that it certainly has elements of stabilizing capitalist control), overall, I'd call it non-reformist reform (provided the legislation was reasonable).
Ossoff reminds me of Newsom in a lot of ways, but the logistics could work there for 2028.

I'm saying the Executive and Legislative branches are separate parts of government. I suggest reading the United States Constitution to learn more: https://constitutioncenter.org/the-constitution/full-text
Very sad that your education failed to teach you this (or you somehow cheated on your citizenship exam if you're an immigrant).
