You've all been in this thread for like 15 years. Someone flying in and making a bunch of bad faith arguments and disrupting the thread every 2 years is just business as usual. They are not well-intended. Its literally the same every time. Okay, I'll leave. Enjoy bullying the stragglers who walk in because you disagree with them, gaslighting them that THEY are in bad faith simply because you disagree with them. You're absolutely rotten

You're absolutely rotten People aren't bullying you by asking you to substantiate your claims and opinions. If you don't have the energy to do more than just drop in and do a drive-by post, that doesn't make people bullies when they have a few questions. Bye though!

You're absolutely rotten I hear the weather on Mohdoo island is quite nice this time of year. For what it’s worth, you earlier asked for specifics regarding who Trump has threatened. He wants to be able to fire at will government employees like myself who don’t do what he wants. That makes it a particularly easy call on my part.

Iowa's early vote also showing some very strong early vote, as well as women +10 over men in that department (55-45), which actually is very on par with Selzer's poll. Things to come, but so far things are looking reasonably good for Democrats. Way too early to call anything though, but these are my early findings. Still a long way to go before polls close. Stay tuned. I plan to go live on Twitch around 7:30pm ET if anyone is going to be following. Given that a strong voter turnout might not be the Democratic advantage that it once was, one of the only data points I'm letting even partially influence my prediction is if significantly more women vote than men in the swing states, since sex does seem to be pretty decently correlated with preference for a candidate (most women = Harris, most men = Trump).

Like you sauntered in, I didn’t even really understand what your overarching point was other than ‘people are mean to Trump’ and fucked off immediately after with a bit of pushback.

This is true, the turnout favoring dems has diminished in recent times, but it really comes down to an enthusiasm concept where we just need to see which side is coming out with more enthusiasm to the polls. My hunch is that Dems are quite energetic especially with a youthful and exuberant candidate who has done wonders for her image this cycle, along with what appears to be America's uncle in Walz. Again, time will tell and I can't wait to see the first results come out.

You're absolutely rotten Most people here aren't asking you to leave; we're just asking you to justify why you voted for Stein, why you think Trump's first and potentially second presidency aren't big deals, and why you think Trump is a decent man who is being treated unfairly by Democrats. These are all statements and opinions that you offered, unprompted.

Actually, this (below) is what I sauntered in with. The fact we are at the point y'all upset me enough to leave is no mystery - you guys are actually bullies. I should have stuck to my word and done a better job tuning out politics for the day while emotions are heightened ------------------------------------------------------ Voted for Stein in PA this morning. Very simple message for y'all. People can vote for who they want, and have their own theory of change that's different from yours. To both sides, it's not the end of the world regardless of the outcome. Turning off all news for the day and doing some work now <3

Why didn't she say this much sooner? I'm so confused. Well, lets hope it'll change someone's mind. https://www.nbcnews.com/video/harris-says-she-will-do-everything-in-her-power-to-stop-war-in-gaza-223458373618 She's said that before too. Then Republicans responded with nonsense like "Why don't you end the war right now, since you're vice president!?"

That part of P25 will probably have a knock-on effect on my employment as well, since the majority of my company's work is either as a prime or sub-contractor for government orgs right now. I could lose my job because we work for talented people who don't want to just be yes-people for Trump and we lose a large chunk of our business.

The only real thing to do today is doom scroll and wait for my way too overly confidence but still somehow correct early calls on states before the mainstream media makes their calls. Looking forward to it. Godspeed.

I did not write a long essay, but I definitely engaged in some explaining, and it's fine if I am disagreed with. I don't agree that y'all getting nasty toward me and deciding I'm arguing in bad faith when I'm not was warranted in either case. Honestly was a little hurtful because I was arguing in GOOD faith. Goodbye, I won't be back and I hope others don't stumble across this wasteland of aggressive and combatant bullies

If she said it before, then why hasn't Biden done something yet? He hasn't made true on his most recent threat regarding aid trucks. Israel has failed to deliver and Biden is silent. Harris also appears to be silent. I'm confused. When was the first or last time Harris said she's going to do her best to end the war?

That's a non sequitur. Just because Kamala Harris says something doesn't mean Joe Biden is going to do something.
