He wants an investigation for someone that is already investigated but hates the investigation that brings out actual crooks. Like is it really this transparent?
yes it is this transparent; there's a number of well known cognitive biases that allow people to think things like this and let his supporters ignore it. do you want links to some sort of sources that explain them more?

I can't get my head around how fucked up you have to be to believe that people of your political persuasion are somehow superior to everyone else. Its tribalism taken to an absolute extreme. Claiming that the right is more civil is just fucking mental.

Because a bunch of crazies locking themselves up in a cabin in Oregon (I think, might have been some other NW state) with a bunch of guns was civil and decent? Or, for that matter, driving a car into a crowd, and killing a peaceful protester.
Also, I don't think any (realistic) politician on the left is planning on running on an antifa campaign... and those were the ones rioting. If peaceful protests are your idea of "incivility" and "indecency", then I guess I'm happy to be on that side!

On a related note, the Charlotte killer was just charged with a host of hate crimes.

The far left of the US is the political group that thinks it’s okay to riot and relentlessly harass political opponents as a form of civil disobedience. Are you really going to debate this after what we have seen over the past couple years? Donald Trump. Lock her up. Enough said. Oh please. That’s child’s play compared to what the far left does. From occupy Wall Street, to anti-police race demonstrations/riots, to violence over conservative speakers speaking at universities, to Maxine Waters inciting harassment of opposing political figures, the far left is far more feral than the tea party. It’s not even close. The riot police don’t regularly come out and fire tear gas when the tea party has a rally.

It also bears worth mentioning that riot police are probably at every tea party rally, only they're there as attendees and not cops

So turning up to Charlottesville with torches, shields and weapons literally trying to start a war on the streets is civilized is it? You have fooled yourself, and its obvious to the rest of us.

Joke of the century. The tea party is just a thinly veiled front that provides legitimacy to white supremacists and Klansmen to camouflage themselves under the guise of opposing big government mixed with a healthy dose of jingoism and a borderline fetish for the founding fathers. The tea party is the scourge of American and Western values, and a strong left is absolutely required to counter the economic and social terrorism being pushed by your ilk. I'm just surprised the left didn't organize sooner.

But even if you do, I'll relate it back to something of a success here in Spain. I don't know about Occupy Wallstreet, but the inspiration (the 15-M protests in Spain) was completely peaceful. They just refused to leave when ordered to do so, which eventually caused the police to forcefully remove them, and that sparked general outrage against the police, and forced police chiefs to resign, despite it being quite clear that some of the 15-M protesters were actually out to get that footage. The 15-M protests eventually heavily influenced the formation of Podemos, currently a fairly influential party in Spain, and all without violence.
