First of all they changed the stockpile website just now to Kushners definition of the stockpile and not what it was earlier 'for use in emergency when local supplies run out' Female reporter now asks Trump what on earth 'our' would mean if not the states. He goes 'ohh such nasty question, you should be ashamed, 'our' means our country' 'so...the states' 'no its for the united states of america' '...' 'We need to keep some for the federal government' edit: now some other reporter asked a second time, and now he basically said it is all for the states. Weird discussion.

I'm really confused as to why he keeps inserting himself into issues he has zero relevant qualifications to deal with. IIRC last year he thought he was the guy to solve the Israel-Palestine conflict because he read a couple of books about it? I can't wrap my head around that level of hubris, to think that your hours of research are somehow more fruitful than the decades put in by others in a particular niche.

The guy is a living allegory of the Dunnig Kruger effect. It's amazing anyone can be so arrogant having achieved so little.

This officially kills the "you're going to take private healthcare away from people" part of the bipartisan opposition to Medicare for All now right?

In fairness - while I agree this would be an improvement - that would mean he never speaks out on any issue ever.

Not some actual political figure.

This isn't about speaking, it's about the official roles he's joining on task forces. If Megadeth asked you to fill in for their drummer would you say "ask an actual drummer" or "sure thing, lemme just watch some youtube tutorials on how to hold a stick"?

Not really because I don't think there's any Democrat who opposes offering universal health insurance to anyone who needs or wants it. The issue of the argument is to not eliminate private insurance for people who want to keep it.

Hillary wouldn't have said it would never ever happen, and Biden wouldn't be arguing against it based on cost. The idea that people want to keep their private insurer is based off a desire to maintain preferential treatment over others no matter how you slice it though from my perspective. EDIT: Also no one wants universal/"affordable" insurance, people want universal care.

Doesn't really matter at those ages. Medical care is better, but even with it there's still a 20% chance they die at their age. There's a reason that when they entered triage in Italy one of the groups they stopped treating was >60 - there's no guarantee even the best medical care would save them.

Isn't that pretty close to what happened with Shawn Drover? I mean, he was clearly a drummer, but he'd never played in any close to Megadeth scale before and then was on some major tour right away. I read some interview from him about almost fainting or something when he saw the crowd.
