This is the result of Trumps tweet and his campaign rally yesterday. But what we do, at least in this forum? To ignore them would also give his message more credibility I think.

The obvious question here is why he would make those tweets if he didn't want his supporters chanting this shit? Is he stupid or is he lying to save face, just badly?

President Donald Trump has disavowed the "send her back" chants directed at Democratic congresswoman Ilhan Omar by his supporters at a campaign rally.
Ms Omar is a US citizen who emigrated from Somalia with her family after fleeing the country's civil war.
The chants, which came after Mr Trump criticised Ms Omar and three other congresswomen, were widely condemned, including by some Republicans.
"I was not happy with it. I disagree with it," Mr Trump said of the chant.

He's a compulsive liar, I don't think it's much more complicated than that or one needs a phd to observe it. His supporters see him as a useful idiot toward their goals of a white nationalist global hegemonic empire.
That's the irony in "send her back" I see. It's not like we won't go fuck up the country we sent her to as well. Colonize it and turn it into knockoff version of the country she got kicked out of.
I guess the question I ponder is how bad can it get before people realize voting Biden isn't an option.

There's nothing evil about it at all. In fact, on substance, it's quite principled. Let's just set aside the very real possibility that Omar is guilty of immigration fraud and focus on her merits as an immigrant. She clearly is someone who doesn't like the country as it is and wants to reform it quite radically. How is it in the interest of Americans to bring someone like that into the fold? Stated another way, how sane is it for America to import anti-Americans? It's not. The onus is on immigrants to comport to American values, not for Americans to adopt and accept foreign values.
Let's take it lightly. If she cheated on her way to citizenship she'll get found out and be deported. Otherwise she'll stay and will be free to believe whatever she wants. She is not forced to love America. Nigel Farage hates the EU by heart and is still a sitting MEP. But he can't get anything done because nobody will work with him, people like that who are against everything about the country or institution marginalize themselves.
Be patient and wait. If you're assumptions are right she will go one or the other way. But maybe she still has a burning patriotism and just wants America to become (what she perceives as) even better.

There's been a lot of leeway for very passionate and heated disagreements in this thread, but this shit's just gone too far. Yeah, I just don't understand the double standard of wanting to remove Democrats or immigrants or racial minorities from the United States when they don't like the current state of our country, but supporting Trump when his literal campaign slogan- Make America Great Again- was all about changing the current state of our country. Apparently, Trump's citizenship should have been revoked for his slogan, instead of him being elected president. Please don't, because apparently if you make him go back to somewhere, that would need to be Germany. After all, according to Trump himself, his father was from Germany. And we REALLY don't want him here. :-D

There's many different ways you can interpret his actions. I wouldn't say that choosing the most generous one 100% of the time is thinking critically haha.
An interesting interpretation is that he's attempting ninja outright racism into mainstream public debates, which he will benefit from by gaining even more credit with the likes of neo nazis, the alt-right and those kinds of people, and then disavowing it to distance himself from the consequences of his words.
The more 'send them home' becomes an acceptable part of the debate, the more power the nutcase element of the right will have.

This is strictly untrue. There have been numerous challenges along your chain of thought that have been conveniently ignored. You are the -least- accountable poster in this thread, and while people may disagree with GH or Danglars or anyone else at specific points, they are capable as people of rationally defending their stances. You have descended into full-on blind worship of a path that follows your ideals.

Deliberately inciting xenophobia and a (completely hypocritical) message of if you don't like getting screwed over by the US, leave (as if that prevents the US from screwing with you lol).
