Trump is not from the party of "believe all woman always" and "SCOTUS pick is a rapist because of something someone claims happened 30 years ago with no evidence". And there is no video of Trump watching prostitutes pissing on a bed, unlike other old fellow singing on the soviet union. + Show Spoiler + From the other side I think Biden has the strongest chance of beating Trump, but I give him 1% chance of winning the primary so I'm fine with it. Beto is also a great candidate, but his moment is not now I think; I see him as a great democrat candidate for president in the future. Klobuchar is well known to treat their staffers like shit, rage at them, and make them do all her errands. There is ton of dirt on her to make public if she runs for either President or VP.

You mean white working class, right? Among people making under the median household income of $50,000, there was a 15 to 20 percentage-point difference in Trump support between those with a college degree and those without. But the same gap was present — and actually larger — among Americans making more than $50,000 and $100,000 annually. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2017/06/05/its-time-to-bust-the-myth-most-trump-voters-were-not-working-class/?utm_term=.5c35b61fa903

You got this wrong, the "working class" voted your president in. Forgetting about flyover country for ~20+++ years turned out to not be a sound strategy. Especially in a country that sees its constitution as some sort of holy book.

Not only do they all hate each other, but they have they have the type of religious zealots that could justify the mass murder they could cause. And because of nuclear weapons and fallout this is a global problem if they decide to use them. Really really awful news. I've only seen reporting regarding transfer of reactor technology.... not specifically weapons technology. Have I missed it somehow?

NPR just did a report on it and the reactor tech has the ability produce one of the many parts that is needed to create weapons grade plutonium. Also the entire plan seemed to be half baked, terrible and designed to enrich the folks pushing it. It would have needed congressional approval too. But it just seems like the most brazen form of grift we have seen from the Trump administration to date.

Not that I have any reason to think that Beto has skeletons in the first place, but keep in mind which party's nomination Beto is running for: Not the Republicans. Trump wouldn't have lasted two seconds if he was running as a Democratic candidate, and we see a huge double standard in terms of how Democrats appropriately decry the occasional Democratic scandal (e.g., Al Franken, Ralph Northam) yet the Republicans at-best-ignore-and-at-worst-embrace the endless revolving door of Me Too perpetrators, racists, sexists, and anti-science apologists in their party. It doesn't faze conservative leaders or constituents like it does progressive leaders or constituents.

Most reactor technology has the ability to "produce one of the many parts needed to create weapons grade plutonium." I'm curious to see how close to actual weapons technology Saudi Arabia would get with what some officials were thinking of sharing.

But at least all the current democratic candidates have positive approval ratings and zero FBI investigations. Huge plus this time around. The ground plan for Sanders in the Midwest (and even Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia imo) is pretty clear, he did manage to take Michigan away from Hillary in '16 after all. Since then, the Rust Belt labor crowd has gotten GM plant closures, coal plant closures, oncoming nuclear plant closures resulting from the First Energy bankruptcy, and a TVA privatization disaster in the form of a coal ash spill, to name only a few local hot topics. To top it all off, folks are (rightfully or not) getting pretty inflamed about how much their tax refunds have dwindled. Bernie is in a prime position to capitalize on all of that. I agree, that plus the fact that Democrats are on notice that their primaries need a lot of attention, especially with a mind towards fairness and efficiency, leaves me with relatively few worries that a secretly flawed candidate will make it through.

Buzzfeed has done an article or two about her being a micromanager. Which automatically makes her an awful person to work for but, as some staffers have noted a lot of the criticisms are likely inflated due to the belief that women that are hard taskmasters are power hungry bitches. But does it honestly matter. Basically every single one of these things are things that Trump has done or worse. Being a petty asshole? Come on, that's literally Trump to a tee. If Klobuchar is a trash person to work for, who really cares.

The majority of Americans agree with essentially every progressive policy that Bernie wants to implement; the biggest drawback is the label of socialism and whatever taboo is attached to it. Labels can go a long way to influencing people who are too lazy to actually learn about a topic or candidate, but there's not really much Bernie can do about being called whatever-juvenile-nickname-Trump-picks and just focusing on educating voters and getting his message out to everyone.

I'm curious to see how close to actual weapons technology Saudi Arabia would get with what some officials were thinking of sharing. It was in the radio, but this is the initial story and here was an interview after I can’t seem to find. Likely by an affiliate network. There was no weapons tech on the stable. But the biggest hurtle for creating a nuke creating weapons grade plutonium. It is also tough to say, because the entire plan was so half baked. But the tech is serious enough to require congressional approve to transfer to another country. https://www.npr.org/2019/02/19/695954246/trump-officials-tried-to-rush-nuclear-technology-to-saudis-house-panel-finds
