There are all sorts of fun theories as to who did this and why now. The timing is awfully interesting, considering he was just in the news for some sick comments he made, although as I alluded to above, the coverage of that was pathetic.

The fact that his immediate reaction to the picture, even if it turns out to not be him, was "yeah that was bad" means he clearly has done similarly stupid and racist things. Maybe he is just confusing his racist acts with someone else tho, eh?

I personally went through an insane amount of growth between senior year of high school and graduating college. Medical school means he already got his 4 year college degree. And it depends what someone did. I think all of these things are highly situational and with all the facts here, he should resign.

Maybe he is just confusing his racist acts with someone else tho, eh? He also wants to use facial recognition software to prove it wasn't him, despite one of the people in the photo wearing a hood. At his press conference he said he once "darkened his face" to impersonate Michael Jackson, separate from this incident. Dude needs to step down. Also the oppo research on him had to have been a group of molerats or something equally idiotic. His nickname was also "coonman"

Also, that's some impressive cherry picking. Do you work for the RNC perchance?

I mean the guys nickname during college was ‘coonman’ ffs.As recently as 2013 he refused to shake hands with a black candidate for Lt governor in a tv debate.Guy is a racist, needs to go.

My guy here is literally quoting from the GOP talking points line for line. This is like barely trying to have a discussion. But here is the thing, the Democratic Party wants him gone. The leadership said he should resign. The Republicans never dropped this during the election because they were worried their base might vote for the guy if they did.

The context of the picture is very important too. During their studies, my sisters went to some "unappropriate themed" parties and "S" parties where people dressed as Suicide bombers. I don't think everything should be taken so seriously!

I agree with should, I'm uncertain about 'can' at this stage. I'll accept that the Democrats can do better. I see no such potential in the GOP.

This isn’t some dude being naked and flexing on the internet. This is some dude that is either in blackface or wearing a KKK hood. Democrats want him gone for obvious reasons, mainly because this is racist as heck no matter how you cut it. I’ve always had very poor impressions of people who take part in intentionally inappropriate costume parties. Is there a serious need for someone to come dressed up as Chairman Mao, Stalin or Hitler? Why would anyone find it funny to take the effort to scrounge up the articles of clothing to pull off that cosplay? It’s not like the million other costume themed parties are any less amusing or fun.
