i can't think of four movies that touched my heart more than those four, when i think of heartfelt, touching movies those four, especially starship troopers (i cried during that scene where they successfully shot the tactical nuke at the araknoids) are the first four that come to mind

태극기 휘날리며 (2004 in Korea) - 2nd favorite movie of all time behind the one and only The Godfather.
Armageddon (1998) - The movie made me a big fan of Aerosmith.
Transformers (1986) - You all cried as a kid at the end when Optimus Prime died. Don't lie you bitches.
Pursuit of Happyness (2006)
Together (2002 in China, aka He ni zai yi qi) - Chinese movie about a country kid trying to play violin in the city. The ending is VERY moving when he decides that instead of chasing his dream of being a famous violinist he chooses to stay together with his father.
Forrest Gump (1994) - Some parts are pretty moving.
Rudy (1993) - When he finally makes the team. /me clutches chest.
Miracle (2004) - Disney's make of the 1980 US Olympic Hockey Team beating THE BEST HOCKEY TEAM in the world made me feel freaking good to be American.
Schindler's List (1993) - If this doesn't move you, you're gay.
Life is Beautiful (1997 in Italy, aka La vita e bella) - BEAUTIFUL movie.
American History X (1998)
The Pianist (2002)
Hotel Rwanda (2004)
Million Dollar Baby (2004)
A Walk to Remember (2002) - Shut up. I watched it on a date though.
The Passion of the Christ (2004) - Controversial yes but if you think about why Jesus was being lashed and crucified. Wow.
Do your best, God will do the rest.

Carlodajin seriously how in the hell are these movies "touching your heart?"

Mine would be American History X, Chasing Amy, The Devil's Advocate, Gattaca, Life is Beautiful, Schindler's List...etc
She prayed for me because she believed I was blind to sin, wanting me to kneel and pray too, because people to whom sin is just a matter of words, to them salvation is just words too.

I had a warm feeling in my heart at one of the best moments of the Movie for me.
And after that I said in my head "This Is A Legendary Movie!!!".

The Notebook moved me although it probably is a chick-flick.

Um, there are many; I shed more than one tear to Shawshank redemption. The friendship described in this movie is just awesome...

Lost in translation was amazing too.

i CANT BELIEVE nobody mentioned Artificial Intelligence by Steven Spielberg.
its one of the best movies that i've ever seen.
I was watching it with some of my friends and i had to hold tears to not look like a wuss, but i swear if i would watch it alone, i'd cry like a baby.

SERIOUSLY, watch this movie.

It's not a movie and I don't have youtube videos. I'm still going to post it, because it's the saddest thing ever! ' One Liter of Tears' is by far the show that touched me the most! I don't even like dramas and stuff, but this was really good, or sad.

Click

A Walk to Remember
The Pianist
Devil Wears Prada
Madagascar
Cars
Ice Age 1 and 2

And yeah, at first I thought your title sounded a little foolish but your movies that "touched your heart" is even worse.

The only 3 three things I've shed a tear watching are Gladiator, My Sassy Girl, and the last two episodes of the anime series Cowboy Bebop which is 10x better than most movies.

A couple ones I haven't seen yet:

The Natural is one of those movies that gets me every time (but I am a sentimental bastard).
Project X is an 1980's movie that I don't remember anyoen mentioning, but that one's really hard for me to watch.

Other than that, I agree with others' picks: Schinder's List, Green Mile, etc. I am afraid to even watch movies like "I am Sam" because I know they are gonna jack me up.

btw, someone should make another thread about songs that can make you cry. I'd be interested to see that too....

Kikujiro by Takeshi Kitano is such a cute movie and the soundtrack is the ultimate feel good music.

Badlands - one of my all time favorites. All True Romance fans need to see this.

The Breakfast Club. Nothing beats a good 80s high school movie. It actually brought a tear to my eye last time I saw it.

I thought you were referring to this kind based on the title...

Abari Renji's history was far more touching than Ikkaku's, I thought

Ikkaku's history reveals that he has acheived ...BBAAANKKKAAAIII!!! Plus I thought the way Renji and him interacted was awesome.

Kill Bill, despite being an action movie. There are some parts that are heart warming/sad.
Fearless. The blind girl, and the ending

Maybe I just have a thing for action/fighting movies.

How could Kill Bill have been touching? There was no "plot" in the first one.

To Live (Huozhe) by Zhang Yimou (1994).
Not a trailer, but one of the many dramatic scenes in this awesome movie.
