Well, there are many kinds of hash. Some being nothing but shake/trim mixed with Ice and water in bubble bags making the most bombdiggity bubble hash. Which is as "pure" as it gets when hash is concerned. But then there are others that I myself personally stay away from and don't smoke anymore. I use to make alot of hash and oil but only make bubble hash now for these reasons. here is a shortlist of the chemicals use to make various hash's/oils
Black hash- usually made with isoproponol,then pressed probably the worst for you. Gold hash- Usually made with butane, then pressed
Honey oil- Made with butane,then evaporated (usually made using a 600ml pop bottle with holes poked in one end, and the butane can stuck in the other end with a hole. Then packed with shake and sprayed through the bottle into a metal bowl. Once you've sprayed a couple cans through, boil water and place the bowl into the water to make the gas evaporate. Scrape whats left in the bowl into a spoon and heat slowly while stirring over the oven burner till there are no more bubbles, stir frequently with a safety pin or sumfin) the lesser of two evils when it comes to oils

Stir 5 more mins, drain some water put in more ice, then mix with a giant spoon for another 20 mins. Let sit then for 45 mins other than adding a bag of ice once one is melted. Drain the bin, pull the bags out. Lay each bag on a towel sandwiching it for about 15 mins, then press it in between the bags with a rolling pin. Turn bag inside out and scrape onto a plate and you are left with the most awesome/cleanest hash.
Just make sure you know what you smoke. This counts for Hashish but also weed but usually more for hashish because the THC percentage can be a lot higher. It's just like alcohol, if you keep drinking low percentages you can handle it like a champ but if your mixing in your Whiskey or in this case it would be high percentage hashish oil it is a bit harder to handle.

BHO is by far the best and most potent weed related substance you can possibly smoke. (butane honey oil)
Bubble hash doesnt even come close to the potency of the BHO and I think it's even easier to produce. Ahhhhhh I really miss taking dabs of that shit with my buddies back in colorado.......
So ya, I would suggest BHO as the actual BEST and MOST POTENT form of weed substance. (it's around 97% THC, a buddy of ours ran some through a mass spec at my school xD)
